i know the director has his issues lmao but i am glad he is the one directing this show because the aesthetic and cinematography are gonna be top-notch. not gonna lie I'm a bit disappointed they chose CDL as the female lead. i think she suits the second lead better, not that Chen Xiao is any better. they should have chosen Bailu or Lusi, or even Yang Chaoyue
