this is a moral dilemma question so feel free to state your opinion but be respectful. Sacrifice a life to save millions. TTJ is the fetus of the devil god. is it justifiable to kill him to save the three realms even though he does not have the devil bone? but be reminded that he is still a vessel for the demon god. The immortals do not want to risk the three realms because of one life. For them, it is better safe than sorry. you can defend the immortals or TTJ. in your opinion are the immortals justified? why or why not? ***we are seeing things from TTJ point of view, now see yourself as an immortal and defend your argument. for those in favour of TTJ why should he be saved?
after watching episode 36 I now fully understand. i remember someone told me to put myself in a character's shoes to understand their point of view. watching all the episodes, we mostly see everything from TTJ point of view. I'm going to break down what i think of the characters as i have watched them from ep1 ill now. **** THIS IS MY OPINION AND IN NO WAY AM I DEFENDING CHARACTERS OR AGREEING WITH WHAT THEY DID. I'M JUST UNDERSTANDING FROM THERI POINT OF VIEW.
TTJ character is tragic from the start. he has no idea he is the devil fetus and it is not his fault. everybody has betrayed him and the one person he really cares about is on a mission to kill him. everything he has done soo far is understandable but not justifiable.
Li Susu/ Ye Xiwu. she saw the devil god kill her family and wipe out all her friends. She has been sent back to kil the devil god. she sees TTJ but does not trust him. she doesn't want to risk everyone's life just because TTJ may or may not become the devil god. She has to fulfill her mission to save the world.
Ye Binchang has not been shown love by her family, others may argue but she comes from a wealthy family so who cares. She is the daughter of a concubine and people know how children of concubines are treated. she just wants to be seen and loved so she steals a love thread. Unbeknown to her, someone already loves her and has seen her for who she is. She does not know this and thinks the person who loves her cares for her only because of the love thread. her doubt and fear of stealing the love thread make her think people care about her because of it. her jealousy and fear drive her to commit atrocious crimes, unfortunately harming the person who really loved her. She realizes this but it is too late he is already gone.
Xiao Lin is Ye Bingchang's husband who loves her for who she is. He is an upright and loyal man. He does what he has to for his kingdom but also understands others' points of view. He cannot betray his country and just join TTJ, after all, he is a prince and his people are under his care. He shows great care and love to his wife Ye Bingchang, but no matter how hard he tries he cannot curb the doubt in her heart. He finally understands what has been bothering her for too long but it is already too late. she betrayed him and caused his death.
The immortals do not want to take the risk of keeping the devil fetus alive even though the devil bone has been removed from him. he is still the devil fetus and the demons want to use him. they would rather he is dead than put the three realms 'lives at stake. maybe it is because of fear, or maybe they do not want the destruction of the three realms, because let's be honest nobody wants war and they are exhausted from fighting the demons. if the devil god is resurrected the three realms are doomed. if they cannot lock him up to prevent the demons from getting to him, they have to kill him. ONE life for the millions of others. They do not really know TTJ to trust him to not turn against them.
