The original focused more upon the imperfections within a person. But this one upon the pain and the suffering. Both are different, but same. Also, I liked how they incorporated the male lead emotions and his inner feelings so well in this one because it wasnāt in the original one.
The chemistry is so good, but it feels awkward because they are still brother and sister. (ik they are not, but it hasnāt been revealed in the drama yet)
I really loved it. It had me on the edge of my seat. It's perfect- cinematography, music, acting (esp LYR's eyes show deep emotions), chemistry. Not one boring episode, especially the last four (so good). I almost cried in the middle of the last episode, thinking it would end with a SE, but it ended perfectly.
Chairman baek tried to kill hee joo and his siblings. Father found out, but chairman pleaded in front of him and signed a contract letting him get what he wants. By doing this, he got in-a out of the marriage and Hee Joo married him instead.
So, baek saeon is the not the real son, the real one is alive and trying to bring down him. Also, the real son killed those orphan kids. One of the twin sibling is working in the presidential office and thinking saeon killed his brother, he is taking his revenge while colliding with real son.
Then whoās baek saeon? Was he adopted? Or the illegitimate child of grandfather? I think he is related to grandfather. How? 1) he tried to kill the real son where saeon lived. (canāt be a coincidence) 2) the person taking care of him knew the grandfather will kill him here. Thatās why he already told saeon to not come out. (they already know eo. Maybe he trusted him with Saeon) 3) the caretaker called saeon and told him āhe is aliveā and later heās at the verge of dying.
Also, i donāt think saeon secretory (park dojae) is helping the kidnapper. But there is someone from the family trying to help real son by giving him information. Maybe the mother.
Last question, how does sang u knew hee joo can speak? Sang u seems suspicious but as of now i canāt seem to find anything towards that can relate him helping real son or is involved in this situation. I think the writers are trying to make his character suspicious but honestly after watching many kdrama i have a gut feeling that he is not the bad guy.

I am yet to finish it.
