Your second point on the dislikes is why I had to drop the drama. Literally no one in the drama took FL's feelings…
agree. maybe that's why her character didn't developed well. even though she was in her late 20s but her acting felt the same of her school days. there was no mature vibes. like common girl you are a small business owner and live alone.

Title When the Phone Rings Spoiler
can someone tell me why he called her as the 'stand-in' at their wedding? I don't mind spoilers. Did she really…
FL stepsister fled before the marriage. Since both of their families has already decided upon the marriage, so they took FL as stand-in for her sister.
But in reality, it was ML’s plan.
To be more precise, at the end of episode two, the stepsister and ML are chatting (on kakao), and the stepsister mentions that he should cancel this wedding. Later ML messages her asking if FL is getting married to a xyz guy (the guy is known for his bad reputation) so the ML suggest that the wedding will take place and FL will be the bride instead of her stepsister.

The documentary about Han Kang will air on December 14. If they show two episodes on December 20 and 21, then…
yes, I also can’t wait to watch the next episode. It’s better to get one then none.

On Dec 20 instead of new episode a recap of episodes 1-7 will be shown...why???? like why????
The documentary about Han Kang will air on December 14. If they show two episodes on December 20 and 21, then only episode 12 will be aired exclusively in January. I believe they want to maintain an even number of episodes.

8/10 for me.

Here are a few things I liked:

- The expressive male lead. When I started watching, I was afraid the character would behave like the original, but I was pleased to see that he showed various emotions and expressions. It made the overall viewing experience very enjoyable.
- The family dynamic and the close, caring relationships among the characters.
- The friendship between both male leads. They felt much closer to each other compared to the original series.
- The HaeDal couple. I appreciated how they had their own storyline, which was quite different from the original. I just wished we could have seen more moments featuring HaeDal.

Things I disliked:

- Sanha's mother. I barely tolerated her and didn’t like that she was allowed to get away with her behavior towards Sanha. This is a typical K-drama issue—no confrontation at all. The male lead seemed like a doormat for his mother, begging until the end for his own happiness.
- The female lead's character lacked development. Her acting felt repetitive throughout the series.
- The chemistry between the main couple. They looked good together, but I didn't feel any connection while watching them. Perhaps it wasn't executed properly, and their relationship felt quite rushed as well.

Overall, despite its flaws, it's a good drama. You should give it a watch; I don't think you'll be disappointed.

It's been a long time since I eagerly waited for the weekend, but this drama has me counting down the days for the new episodes to air! Why are days passing by so slowly (sobbing)?

Is there a love triangle or a lot of romantic stuff? I just don’t want to watch it if it’s romance…
there's no love triangle. romance is in the later half (last 4-5 eps).
