ml is totally whipped for fl, in a good way. He’s not simp. Their chemistry seems natural and organic. Also, it’s not love at first sight. He gradually falls in love with her. I would suggest you to give it a watch and decide on your own. Personally, i am enjoying and loving it. Edit: he has liked for 10 years and still does.
Is this show worth the watch or can I wait for it to drop on Netflix?
it depends on you. if you can wait every week for episodes to get released then watch it (i can't lol). otherwise, wait for it to complete. i personally regret started watching it, i should have waited for all eps. solely based on 1st 2 eps it feels binge worthy.
The movie was quite good overall, but it left me with an uneasy feeling. It lacked depth, and I believe it would have been more effective as a mini-series.

you are right. now that I think about this, it makes sense why we believe ML is in love with FL even though they have few interactions. it was the script. but here it's different. he is not just suddenly in love. he is responding to her actions. he smiles and observes her.

first, he doesn't tell her that Hanhai belongs to him. second, to increase the stock price in 2 years he invested in Xingchen, and later he will merge it with Hanhai, leading to the creation of HanXing technology. Ji Xing didn't know about this. when she became aware, she only had one option which was to agree with the merger or else her company would suffer by going against Han Ting.
