For real, the fight scenes here are impressive! Even as a fan of Bai Lu, I didn't know she could fight this well with swords, arrows, cloth, etc. She really is improving her craft 🙌🏻

Maybe it’s their guilty conscience. The drama said that Li Peiyi is the emperor's niece, so she shares the same blood. They could be scared to receive retribution from the universe if they commit more sins. Ultimately, I think her memory loss is why they kept her alive.
