i dont get how people see it as arrogance. Hes confidence blunt and straightforward, he never really trash talked Gao or anyone. He gave his honest opinion of gaos work. Gao didnt truly love programming otherwise hed be a student and want to always learn from someone good. Its always made clear the gap and their abilities. you cant be jealous of someone that far surpasses your level.

the ending was weak sauce

they act as if FL was an experienced career woman to be unwilling to give up her job. she got pregnant early and she wasnt at the company long 🙄 duh it should be her that takes the break. i mean ML never said she couldn't work it just makes the most logical sense for her to take a break have the baby then return to work

Having it all is not what they did here though. FL basically makes both her and ML go through hardship when it wasnt needed. He had the higher position and pay in the company not to mention the penalty contract for leaving to soon. why would ML be the one to quit?? i understand women not wanting to be totally dependent on the mans salary but the timing in which they got together was obvious shes the one that should have left the company she was only slightly above an intern. If this written with them having an equal position or her having a higher position in the company her decision would have worked out better. otherwise her Mother is a lunatic for telling them to sacrafice the higher salary for her daughter to maintain a false sense of independence. you made her and her husband struggle for no reason.

yeah its tagged as coach-coachee but he doesnt really teach her other than showing her how he plays a speed game and the jump shot he does only a few times. Also she doesnt really learn snooker she plays 9 ball most of the drama.

I think its mainly because she usually straight forward but she becomes spineless when she hides her opening a restaurant from him. knowing he trusted her alot that was too shady.

theres romance but FL is more focused on getting her masters knife back than her feelings. currently after the competition she finds out ML true goal so she doesnt feel too good after winning but he disappeares for 2months.

Not satisfied the way they decided to end this. too many things havent been tied up for it to end like this.

i think things would been different if the drama wasnt restrained by not having FL remember her past life. That is the biggest connection to the two stories is that she remembers everything that happened so Forever and Ever is them getting there happy ending after the tragic end in OandO

due to some weird rule that you can't film them as reincarnated they dont make it as the novel does where FL remembers her past life therfore she takes the initiative in everything.

in the novel FL is the only one that remembers past life which is why she takes the initiative with everything in their relationship. but due to some wierd rule in china they arent allowed to film it as reincarnation with memories intact so they just vaguely imply they are reincarnated.

i didnt really get it, shi yi is a successful voice actress so shes not like some poor girl that had nothing going for herself.

2ML probably only reluctantly married XDao becuase of there families connection, FL never stood up for herself previously so he never probably saw how nasty XDao was to her. Still think it was a stretch that he paid her attention all of sudden i thought hed had helped her cover up the plagiarism previously

well she was the antagonist/villian so shed get as much screen time as FL i suppose

also its implied that FL is bio daughter of Mr. Gu so her and Xiner are bio sisters. which makes it weird for the brother to have ever had thoughts about FL in first place.

dont read much into that, thats done as a product placement ad most kdrama and cdramas do it. Who would fill the fridge full of only RIO?

a bit passed the midway episodes, he confesses and it completely weirds her out. I think she should picked up on it alot sooner when he even wanted to know if she had sex or not.
