Honestly, I renewed my Netflix subscription just for this drama, and it’s worth every penny. I’ve loved it so far, and the new episodes air in an hour. Super excited! I’ve always known about Zhang Linghe’s popularity but never really got the chance to watch his dramas except The Best Thing. This is only my second drama of his, and Tian Xiwei absolutely nailed her role. Both of them are amazing. Also, whoever designed Zhang Linghe’s costumes deserves a raise.

Especially when she fell down and the reactions of al the officials were 🤣

Everything aside it's so satisfying to see that Evil Empress Dowager like that 🤣🤣🤣

By far the best fight scene. Hope Xu Kai gets more screen time from now on.
