Yes. I am glad that the writers showed that she has the courage to divorce that rapist. This drama met my high expectations from the writers, looking forward for more good dramas from them.

My point is not CM as bf material but that CM and parents represented the general public. The ones sitting on the fence and those not on CG’s side. They may admired ZX for her courage to fight her boss but don’t want such a wife or daughter-in-law. Nutshell, no man wants a raped victim for wife or parents that type of stigma for daughter-in-law.
BTW I don’t want a CM even as a friend! He abandoned her like hot potato when the going gets tough. Better a KH or a YZ. (He stepped in on the dance interlude).

It’s the writer’s way of showing repercussions and consequences. Even if the parents/ general public may admired her courage to stand up, the stigma will forever remain. No parents want that type of daughter-in-law. No man will want that type of wife. Her life can never be normal. Main reason she was always changing her testimony.

Till episode 20. Waiting for the rest to be subbed. I think it’s applied. All the scenes with the victim, from the police to the lawyer LK, all told her it would be recorded. The scene with CG, he didn’t tell her and significantly, LK, wasn’t there.

That video of him making her confessed it was not raped if released, may get him in troubled. If it was later found out that she didn’t consent and didn’t know it was being recorded, violated her rights. That is an inadmissible evidence. Moreover it would leads to dangerous conjectures that if he could easily violate her rights, there are the probable cause that he would violate her body.

She wouldn’t hurt a dying man. She had shown to be kind and considerate. The counselor had asked her why didn’t she locked the bedroom door and her replied was it would hurt his pride. I think Mr.Wu didn’t violate her physically. He had romantic feelings for her was the reason the wife was so spiteful and malicious. In the latest epi. , I hope she will be the divorce lawyer for Mi Mang, a healing and venting experience for her.

While waiting for RM’s other drama to be subbed, I watched 2 episodes of this drama and ending few minutes of last episode. Spoilers are welcome. Is the promise to have a grand wedding and travelling together the title of this drama?

Did they change writers for the last 2 episodes? It was unbelievable that top notch lawyers condemned one as guilty without hearing the other side story based only on flimsy evidence and hearsay. Otherwise I enjoyed it. It maybe a replica of “The Good Wife” but I haven’t seen it as YouTube don’t have it. But it has “Justice” and “Just Legal” and it’s on that level.

25.5 saw that ZLS has the potential to become a good director as the director of HL. Also she can make her man standout and CZY delivered. What made the kissing scenes of HL different from other dramas was a virgin boy who as cute, sweet yet sexy and manly, hot for his girl. There was a BTS on ZLS teaching CZY how to kiss but he had kissed his co-stars before. What was different was that “virginal look” but still looked sexy and manly. CZY was a standout surprise! He deserved it!
