I started watching in 2022 but i've seen alot of pre 2022 dramas, and my feeling is that they were much better written, 16 episodes per drama didn't feel ''too long'' and were consistently good quality, now 12 episodes dramas seems to get dragged from episode 8-9 onwards and i have a hard time finishing a show. Nowadays Rom-Coms are mostly ''copy-pasted'' , same clichees, same tropes, same structure, nothing new, very little original in them. Writters/producers preffer to take the easy and safe way and just make something ''proven to work and which gets the numbers''. All my favorite dramas are from 2022 and earlier. These days if i get to watch 1 or 2 good dramas/year i consider myself spoiled. The golden age of kdramas seems to be past us, or maybe i'm just melancholic.

it made more sense if he was actually a ghost and real him in coma for half an episode. basically he got ran over by a car, got rushed unconscious to the ER, resuscitated probably needed surgery but he just gets up with drs letting him, walks it off like it was a tricycle that hit him and scratched his left pinky. all of this for the writters/producers to have an episode ending where something ''important'' happens, and then at the start of the next episode everyone is cool again and they're like ''hey it was no biggie at all we all cool''. this type of clichee in present in almost every drama like the writters consistently go for this lazy clichee written episode endings insulting the viewers inteligence. i get that they see ghosts and it's fiction and supernatural stuff is involved, but make it have some sense and logic in other aspects at least if you want viewers with some basic thought process to get at least a bit immersed in the drama you're producing/writting.

get more creative, you're just copying words from me now. you are the type of obsesive parasocial person replying to each and every comment in a section of a show you're watching trying to dissprove or attack someone who's not constantly glazing the show that you're liking so much. let people be and get on with your life

does it usually ruin your fairy tale bubble when someone is not liking the same stuff that you do? do you need constant validation from others to feel that a show you enjoy is actually good? getting all salty trying to dissaprove someone's personal opinion about a show is actually sad

can't blame ga eul for not wanting to get married at that pointa when he wasn't financially stable and still working on his artist career. no excuse as well for leaving for so long and then coming back like nothing happened expecting to be taken back

i enjoyed this short little drama

wish they focused more on the inside cases and build their relationship more interacting while working together than this attempted "love triangle" or history subplot she had with SML which was obvious it wasn't going to lead anywhere and was just for a bit of drama and tension to happen between the 2 two leads so that afterwards to suddenly figure it out that they like and run to eachother. lately not even second leads have their own separate stories and life in kdramas and everything is about the leads time on screen

finished ep 4, it is hinted again and again that Gi Beom might be the murderer but i would be suprised if it's not actually his brother Gi Hwan

i think she's bad and way past redemption as she didn't disagree with the head of the royal court's plan of getting rid of FL (in anyway that would mean)

k-drama MLs are rarely married

They sure like to show something big/important happening at the end of almost every episode just to brush it off or downplay it at the start of the next episode. The kiss at the end of episode 3, surely he didn't see a photographer hidden somewhere so he went for the kiss.

This drama was so dissapointing. This is not what i had in mind after watching the first 2 episodes. All the drama in this show was heavily based on misunderstandings, bad comunication and bad timing. They could have talked it out so many times but they just didn't and when they finally got the chance to talk again they just discussed random things instead of beeing direct and clearing all the misunderstandings. What was Im Sol character's point? I was thinking that the writters will figure it out that the leads are not a good match, that every attempt of them beeing together leads to angst and so they will try to give ML and Im Sol a chance which i think was a more healthier and mature person for him. But no, the writter/producer had to glaze the FL right to the end, she is in fact the FL and if she can't be happy, ML can't be as well. Or did they just want to give some "semi-open" ending pointing out that they could met again..? It doesn't matter any more because after all that happened i couldn't root for them. ML made no sense as well, such a sucker for toxic unfulfiling love, when he couldn't get over her after all that happened he was still there like a puppy waiting for her to throw him a bone and that would have been enough for him to run back for a 3rd round of cerified angst.

i just got the chance to finish the last 2 episodes and i have to say i'm really dissapointed, i would have rated this much higher. it went a bit all over the top with the lady detective figuring all out to perfection after like 3 decades, i know it's fiction but i still need to feel it's realistic to get immerse in it. after so many years i doubt someone could figure it out that way to perfection, and the old chief just had to keep his mouth shut, it would have been really hard to proof what actually happened to that detail. And then we have the ML not even having to leave his long term relationship GF because she understood she isn't loved and he has feeling for other woman and she just leaves to not have to make ML break up with her and be the bad guy. how convinient. And Makiko has feelings for Junichi as well? After she almost slept with her ex. husband. all right then.

i don't think the writters/producers have the courage to do so, it rarely happens in kdrama land but i do agree it would be the ending that makes the most sense

i don't understand all the drama and angst in ep. 11, she was so against hearing him out and set on to not see him again through out the episode and all his attemps just so that towards the end when she thought he may dissapear she starts searching for him. what was all the misery for then

it doesn't make sense wanting to create distance when she wants to get back with him. i ve watched all the episode and i can see ML getting tangled into her unfinished mess with SML which keep on looking for her.

So she knows SML for 10 years as well, but only dated him for the last 3 months right before she got reunited with ML? I already knew big time skips in kdrama don't make sense but this is next level absurdity. That scene at the end of ep. 2 gave me weird vibes when she broke up with him just after spotting SML exiting a room. Like why was he even in the picture? At that point made me think there could have been something between them already. It appears she still didn't get her life sorted out and she'll just end up make ML suffer again. He should figure out she's not good for him.
