The Legend of Zhuohua is not so legend. She is running behind coattail of her sugar daddy Liu Yan. There are problems with chinese story telling. They make magnificient claims in the story but they dont provide evidence. Basically they make it up like reading a story book. Most chinese drama lacks depth because of it. I mean no one have money to explain all the things. But you needs to provide some snap shots..something to show its real even in fictional world.

Drama can succeed in many ways. You just dont have to spoil it. There are few drama succeed was coroner and few others. It depends on director. Idea is if you limit the role of actor and concentrate on story and deliver scene just correct and dont go overboard , it will work
