He's just playing the character as he is in the story. He has other dramas where he doesn't play the cold lead (most recent would be Island and Decibel) Also Prince Yirim was quite different and he played that in between TB and MIIGB (Rookie Historian in Netflix)

I can't wait for October! I loved this webtoon (I've read it more than once by now) and I loved Eunwoo/Gyuyoung's chemistry when they worked together before, I'm sure this will turn out to be my favorite drama, I'm so excited !!!!
