Yes 100%! I agree with what u just said fully, besides hyuk joon and maybe jin woo, yes the other guys are still trying their best but they are just so awkward at it, but I just can't help but appreciate that effort, but well they signed up for this, that's why many people expect them to do better

They are trying even harder than jae yun, like way harder, the biggest complaint about season 1 is how passive & non proactive the participants were, even if some of the S2 guys mannerisms can be extremely awkward they're all trying, you cannot name a single male contestant who's not trying in S2. Literally.

We even got people like Jae seo trying so hard to the point that it's backfiring on him, he hittin all the wrong dialogue options lmao, I feel sad for him.

Trying harder is not the problem here whatsoever, doing better is. And if you try to look at it from a mature perspective, you'd appreciate the effort, genuinely.

This just shows the difference between an eternal single by choice or not. and you can't help but feel for the latter.

Which is what he did? he literally told her he was open on day 2, we get these episode week to week, they're there on a daily basis this whole thing probably took no more than a week for them, some of yall need to understand that these people just met. It's not like he's been with her for an entire week at least before switchin up, he was dead with her for a day lmao come on chat 😭

Mind you Hyun seo is easily my fav participant I love her personality but some of yall just be bashin hyuk joon without puttin 2 & 2 together just sayin whatever without taking a step back to process things

I feel like most of us haven't taken any sides yet, even in hyun seo's case, she's my favorite but I gotta admit that she did self sabotage by doin the play hard to get part at first cuz she felt things were movin faster than her usual pace.

Like hyuk joon literally asked her like 5 times if she got the gift and she kept denying or playin clueless which she fully admitted to it not bein the right move. There's also the part when they discussed hobbies and she said she didn't like bro hobbies, it wouldn't hurt if she had added that she would've been open to try them out.

If you look at it from his POV you can genuinely and fully understand where he's coming from, and yes bein popular there did get to his head, but Im still gonna root for her the most regardless lmao

P.S: I also like Suji so much lmao u go girl, go for who u like dont let them force a dude on u, she was probably turned off when she learned about them havin some typa tournament on who she should end up with and I feel her for that. and after havin multiple convos with hyuk joon and having alot in common with him, and the fact that bro is probably one of the VERY FEW males who can hold a conversation there lmao, I wouldn't mind if either of her or hyun seo end up with him

Hyuk Joon and Jin woo the only ones who seem to be gettin somewhere and it makes sense, but watchin episode 5 so far, I can see where everybody is comin from and I hope for the best for all of them genuinely, they all seem like good people who be in their head way too much overthinking stuff which is relatable.

Edit: Everybody was proactive these 2 episodes both men and women no exception! I like that!

Yes, they even showed us that it wasn't a 10 minute date thing but a whole series of events that led to that, I still want them both to end up together im ngl but Im cool with any outcome

I'm 2 episodes in, and I have to say that this is hands down a HUGE UPGRADE from the previous season, 100% 😁

And that makes sense because the whole concept was very experimental in the first season because this is not the usual type of cast you'd expect in a dating show.

And now with a reference to work with and upgrade upon, they really took the formula, fixed a lot of the issues from the previous season and created a system that better adapts to this specific type of cast as In Guk said.

This seems like a good show but it has one very major flaw which is the fact that it doesn't seem to cater to new viewers almost at all whatsoever, in a lot of instances the show makes you feel like you shouldve known the info prior from watching previous seasons, they dont even go out of their way to explain certain stuff sometimes they just slap in a text box somewhere for 2 secs and move on leaving u confused as a mf.

Its hard to digest this even if we were to assume this was a sequel, and its even worse fact that its being promoted as a sub/spin off version of the original series. The problem is that there are cases for comparison sake where shows expect that their audience will include new viewers and go about introducing the mechanics better to them.

I feel like we'll get over this fast with time and more episodes but right now it can be very overwhelming to new viewers.

Season ruined by the fact that 3 out of 4 girls are interested in WY and 3 out of 4 boys are interested in YG and those 2 are interested in each other and the others only kept on focusing on trying to find their way in there but couldn't so they ended up with no real other connections.

So for 10 episodes straight all we got is 1 couple and a whole lot of Friendship Signal with no real romantic connections.

Things I feel like this show could do better:
1. Get more people in, their choices are far too limited with only 4 people.
2. Get more proactive contestants, what are we doing.
3. Get better catfish/bombshells. As much as I like JH and SY as people, they did not cook at all. like at all. they shook nothing up, they didnt find any connection, they very unfortunately just ended up passively joining the friendship signal squad.

She likes Jun Hyeon. He loves his wife, they show you that in every way possible.
And It's clear as day that he's going to get his body back.
