Season ruined by the fact that 3 out of 4 girls are interested in WY and 3 out of 4 boys are interested in YG and those 2 are interested in each other and the others only kept on focusing on trying to find their way in there but couldn't so they ended up with no real other connections.
So for 10 episodes straight all we got is 1 couple and a whole lot of Friendship Signal with no real romantic connections.
Things I feel like this show could do better: 1. Get more people in, their choices are far too limited with only 4 people. 2. Get more proactive contestants, what are we doing. 3. Get better catfish/bombshells. As much as I like JH and SY as people, they did not cook at all. like at all. they shook nothing up, they didnt find any connection, they very unfortunately just ended up passively joining the friendship signal squad.
OMG!! 😱 His facial expressions when she apologized to her father, insane acting capabilities! Im at a loss for words, it gave me goosebumps.
It showed the true definition of how a parent would still feel like even when you fail them, he was not happy at all seeing his daughter in that state even after what she did to him. She is still his little girl (won't affect his vengeance tho)
That was such an insane miniscule detail they added in there that made so much impact!
and for Jun Young being in his 20s and managing to excel in portraying such a VERY mature emotion is immensely commendable. Salute to the insane acting capabilities of the cast in this drama.
I will say it again, this is hands down THE best thing airing right now and I 100% understand the very good viewership ratings it has! Very much deserved!
Same but how will it work, she’s basically falling for her dad. The soccer player will surely have a completely…
The soccer player seems very genuine and hard working, it would be nice if they do a Yuji / Sukuna type vibe at least, then the soccer dude persona gets to develop that relationship with her
OMG WY & YK IS EVERYTHING I WANTED FROM A COUPLE IN A DATING SHOW!!! ❤️ And potentially SW x SY next episode lets go baby!!!
I really really really liked SY this episode, even the way she was tryna intrude at the start of the episode was kinda cute, funny and very harmless.
Then ended it all with a genuine & mature conversation with WY and acknowledged his attempts to set up a barrier between them and took that very positively, saying that it's commendable of him to do that for YG's sake and very manly of him.
I really, really like SY after today's episode and hope the best for her journey in the latter half of the show, my outlook on her changed so positively (she was just there for me at first) and the preview is giving me so much hope for where Im hoping things to head towards for her!! Let's go girlie! Cook up!! 😍
This is is easily THE best thing airing right now, hands down.
I love me some romance drama BUT it gets to a point where it's so Tiresome if every single thing the industry has to offer is the generic romance template but with a different flavor that we've seen a thousand times already. not that this one's unique but it's one of those niche formulas that we only get to see once or twice a year in the kdrama scene.
I really appreciate when a kdrama offers some breath of fresh air, especially stuff that are really well done like this one, from the overall production, camerawork, acting, direction, scenery, the vibe and atmosphere, they give you the FeelGood satisfaction and keep you really looking forward to the next episode!
I appreciate the script wring and every actor in this series so far, everyone's doin a phenomenal job portraying their character, be it good or evil or somewhere in between.
You summarized everything well. The guest panelist also explained the show well. Its like a dopamine. I do agree…
Thank you!! you are so right! I also understand the point of view of having someone like him who provides good content focusing on one girl, basically just like Jimin in Heart Pairing
OMG!! 😭 I js finished the episode Im soooo healed! The level of maturity and communication both Woo Yeol and Yu Gyeong displayed this episode was so commendable! Also mad respect to Woo Yeol for making amends, drawing lines, being clear, taking accountability, expressing himself and more!! Okay WY I see u! ❤️
This feels so much like heart pairing to me right now, slow start but peak from mid to endgame!! lets go baby, im here for it!
as of right WY and YG are peak television, finally a couple I can watch and be satisfied, their ship feels so complete now.
My 2nd fav couple is GY and SW but still feels like there's some type of barrier and awkwardness there but thats the charm of their type of interaction! I guess
The show is finally picking up and things are heading towards people trying to establish their couples.
But, there's always a but, I noticed something with whoever is responsible for casting the game changers, they always miss, like I literally can't think of a singular prior season where they did not cast a very passive game changer, even when they try to cook up they always just miss somehow.
I think Season 4 female game changer was probably the one and only exception? if I remember correctly she managed to snatch the male main character of that season? they need more people like that to spice things up, not just miss once or twice and just fade into the background.
imo if Wu yeol was the catfish this season, it woulda been chaos in dis bih, all couples wavering left n right, gotta give it to bro. you see how he managed to get to a certain level with 3 different girls, thats who you want as a game changer.
99.9% of GY x Blank shippers want her with SW so everybody is happy. and since episode 1 the vast majority want WY with YG its just that WY was exploring and YG was giving hints yeah but also passive so seeing them get to a point finally 8 episodes in is something.
omg Im already knowing the ending of the preview of the next episode is gonna piss me tf off wow, wth happened there 😮💨I genuinely hope it's just editing but aint no way bro went with both them, son im krine 😭
2 things I wanna say here: 1. This is hands down the best cdrama I have ever watched. 2. That changyu fight scene this episode (26) was so elite, from that amazing choreography to the camera angles and VFX as well as the SFX, all of them cooking a whole masterpiece of a fight scene that has to be the best so far in this drama, it lowkey made me ignore her drugging a whole marquis during a war which is 100% on him and shows us the consequences of him dragging that fake persona longer than it needed.
Today's episode had 2 of the worst instances I watched so far in this series.
1. Him still draggin this mysteriousmaxxing fake persona, despite everybody and their cousin in his surroundings telling him that it's enough, it's like the writers are trolling us with this, " yes we know but we still gon do it tehe " like bro what.
2. One of the most irresponsible and least intelligent things Changyu did throughout the entire series, freeing that dude like why... that goes beyond common sense, its not even about her lacking military knowledge, this is straight up stupid.. the other dude even warned her multiple times like what..
This is still the best cdrama I ever watched and I love it so much

And It's clear as day that he's going to get his body back.
