Great drama revealing real life of Chinese people and a real China.

It reminds me of "Breaking Bad". From nobody to somebody, this fishmonger bullied frequently by farmers' market mangers or rather gansters, turned to a gangland boss, a famous entrepreneur, a philanthropist... Gangsters, policemen, are not stereotyped roles. There are complexity of human nature here. There is presentation of the real life of grassroot people, and how people are croded by darkness gradually.
All actors are good, especially Zhang Songwen. Zhang Yi doesn't have to use that accent to show he is a local of Jinghai. It's kinda of a faulty stroke. Although the ending part has beed re-edited and dubbed to pass the review, the whole storyline is compact, concise and intriguing. The best Chinese drama I've watched in recent years.
