I was only 30 min into ep 1 when i knew this drama was about to put my other 2 period dramas on hold, and it, in fact, did. I started key to the phoenix heart and blossoms of power and I keep trying to go back to them but they were just not grabbing me until this one came out. Now the episodes canāt come soon enough.
It doesnāt seem like anything extraordinary or even new, yet thereās something refreshing about the leadsā character and storyline.
Thereās much that is very interwoven as these dramas usually are, but the political intrigue is engaging and keeps you interested in a way, (or maybe thatās just me lol).
The most heartfelt, fulfilling and humane drama iāve seen in a while. Cried with them so much- happy tears, sad tears, but like them healed in the process. I too learned so much and appreciate the storylineās youthful and mature characters. It showed us very real trauma, emotions, and hardship that through the process of learning to accept and grow with the right support system itās possible to have a stronger and resilient heart. This is a drama i will come back to for a long time š„¹
it had its moments, ups and downs even confusion (thereās much to grasp about the finance industry) but it was a well-rounded story and overall decently executed even with the actor that was swapped. i enjoyed the simplicity of the main couple and the growth of them both throughout. the two side couples are a different story literally lol. Not terrible but not great either, canāt even describe them. Their journey was very enjoyable, I loved the progression and I already miss them.
itās a good watch if you enjoy slice of life and donāt mind the side characters and stories they add to the story but can do without some parts. There were others that annoyed me and wished differently but it all came together and back to the leads not to mention the comedy was golden.
just finished this! im suprised i got through it despite my many breaks lol it was not bad at all in fact i got kinda attached to the the many good things this drama offered. and while there were definitely many negative that absolutely infuriated me (mainly in the beginning) the development was thankfully there. it couldāve been better but from an outside perspective I can see the worth in the journey of the female lead. She had to walk through this path (the hardship and all she went through) to be where she is now. the ending couldāve also been wrapped up better likee- they had 39 eps but ig lol. i was also confused if Nanting would ever fly again!? like i think it was implied but wow i felt for him. I will miss the comfort and empowerment this drama instilled it was much needed for me. The female lead is not among my go tos for dramas but i always appreciate her works when i come across her. and she absolutely killed it with this one. big respect to her.
stumbled upon Flight to You just a couple of days ago but now im struggling to finish it bc of all the dragging and the MLās cold stubborn character lol, anyway this one sounds exciting- im hoping the story and writing are better. And hope that i can finally enjoy and finish a Miles drama. Idk why but most of the dramas iāve seen him in I have dropped š
I really enjoyed this drama. Thereās something about a genuine, humane and heartfelt story. Every episode of this drama was a representation of the imperfect yet real and complex reality of families and relationships. Every case shown was a different point of view and honestly i felt the growth and character development myself along with the lead characters.
The value of this drama is in the authenticity behind every case and story. Whether it was external or internal cases we faced the dilemmas that every day families have in real life. It can almost be a drama based on true stories for how much detail and effort went into the writing.
I actually wish we wouldāve gotten more episodes bc 26 definitely didnāt not felt like enough. I wouldāve loved to see the leads more and how they would faced a new chapter in their lives. And not just them but the rest of the characters.
In any case, this was a beautifully written and executed drama. If you like depth, emotional and heartfelt stories, this is worth a watch. It is not a perfect watch, but itās one that won my heart and respect. Some parts felt a but annoying and cheesy at first lol but nothing over the top and overall Im glad to have found this gem. Itās a drama that felt sincere from start to finish and it was a beautiful story. Hope to find more dramas like this!
Idk what it is about this drama that still pulls at my heartstrings for the third time since i first watched it back in 2019/2020. Maybe im too much of an empath but it really hits just as much as the first time.
Sure, itās not the best in some ways but something about the simplicity, authenticity, and even flaws of the story and characters, makes this one so heartfelt for me.
This time around, it made me reflect so much on a personal level about the journey to achieving oneās dreams.
This is coming from someone who was pretty new to cdramas in 2019, knew nothing of yibo and the esports industry or cdrama industry (still donāt know much about them all lol but i digress).
I am the around the same age as yibo and the fl and this third watch was somewhat of an eye opening experience. I gained a deeper insight into this story and inspired feelings i hadnāt felt previously.
Just seeing how much Yibo has grown himself, achieved on personal level and at the same time been through, is as inspiring, and itās amazing to have known him thru his character in this drama. I truly think it was made for him.
All in all, as I watched and soaked in all emotions and adversity that everyone endured and went through, I realized how this story serves as a stepping stone, demonstration and affirmation of realizing whatās important to us in our lives and that sometimes life and time will tell.
I definitely got a bit carried away and ofc this is all my pov so take it with a grain of salt. Lol this turned into more of a personal experience than anything. But for me, its a worth a watch if you donāt take it too objectively and just focus on the positives, the overall story, and the message.
psychopath female leadā¦what are we about to get intoā¦? like wdym lol šš³š«£haha well not sure if this one will be my cup of tea but im so excited about this reunion š uncontrollably fond was among my first kdramas š„¹
i gotta say this drama is just hitting in all the right places šor maybe itās just my cup of tea lol but itās soo good! Thereās some classic tropes but with a unique spin that simply keeps you hooked.
Didnāt watch this when it came out in Jan and randomly decided to give it a try⦠omgg so good and weāre getting a 2nd season!? I think there hasnāt been a cdrama Iāve really enjoyed get a 2nd season, this was a pleasant surprise! so excited, now I just gotta finish S1 lol
ikr. i shared the same sentiment with you. Itās good but in the most subtle way possible. i took time savouring…
right! like itās nothing too extraordinary but thatās precisely what makes it so good, itās simple yet compellingā¦? (i canāt even find the right words to describe the feeling of this drama)
but i am living for their mundane moments and the development of their relationship. With each trial they face their feelings get stronger and they grow closer, trusting each other, loving it!

p.s. Also hoping S2 is just as good! Im still on ep 28 rn but anxious to finish it soon š¤

idk what it is⦠itās so good but in the most subtle way possible. That probably doesnāt make sense lol but im just hooked
