stumbled upon Flight to You just a couple of days ago but now im struggling to finish it bc of all the dragging and the ML’s cold stubborn character lol, anyway this one sounds exciting- im hoping the story and writing are better. And hope that i can finally enjoy and finish a Miles drama. Idk why but most of the dramas i’ve seen him in I have dropped 😭
I really enjoyed this drama. There’s something about a genuine, humane and heartfelt story. Every episode of this drama was a representation of the imperfect yet real and complex reality of families and relationships. Every case shown was a different point of view and honestly i felt the growth and character development myself along with the lead characters.
The value of this drama is in the authenticity behind every case and story. Whether it was external or internal cases we faced the dilemmas that every day families have in real life. It can almost be a drama based on true stories for how much detail and effort went into the writing.
I actually wish we would’ve gotten more episodes bc 26 definitely didn’t not felt like enough. I would’ve loved to see the leads more and how they would faced a new chapter in their lives. And not just them but the rest of the characters.
In any case, this was a beautifully written and executed drama. If you like depth, emotional and heartfelt stories, this is worth a watch. It is not a perfect watch, but it’s one that won my heart and respect. Some parts felt a but annoying and cheesy at first lol but nothing over the top and overall Im glad to have found this gem. It’s a drama that felt sincere from start to finish and it was a beautiful story. Hope to find more dramas like this!
Idk what it is about this drama that still pulls at my heartstrings for the third time since i first watched it back in 2019/2020. Maybe im too much of an empath but it really hits just as much as the first time.
Sure, it’s not the best in some ways but something about the simplicity, authenticity, and even flaws of the story and characters, makes this one so heartfelt for me.
This time around, it made me reflect so much on a personal level about the journey to achieving one’s dreams.
This is coming from someone who was pretty new to cdramas in 2019, knew nothing of yibo and the esports industry or cdrama industry (still don’t know much about them all lol but i digress).
I am the around the same age as yibo and the fl and this third watch was somewhat of an eye opening experience. I gained a deeper insight into this story and inspired feelings i hadn’t felt previously.
Just seeing how much Yibo has grown himself, achieved on personal level and at the same time been through, is as inspiring, and it’s amazing to have known him thru his character in this drama. I truly think it was made for him.
All in all, as I watched and soaked in all emotions and adversity that everyone endured and went through, I realized how this story serves as a stepping stone, demonstration and affirmation of realizing what’s important to us in our lives and that sometimes life and time will tell.
I definitely got a bit carried away and ofc this is all my pov so take it with a grain of salt. Lol this turned into more of a personal experience than anything. But for me, its a worth a watch if you don’t take it too objectively and just focus on the positives, the overall story, and the message.
psychopath female lead…what are we about to get into…? like wdym lol 👀😳🫣haha well not sure if this one will be my cup of tea but im so excited about this reunion 😭 uncontrollably fond was among my first kdramas 🥹
i gotta say this drama is just hitting in all the right places 😌or maybe it’s just my cup of tea lol but it’s soo good! There’s some classic tropes but with a unique spin that simply keeps you hooked.
Every ep has me going through a roller coaster of emotions but can’t seem to get enough. now im sad it’s only 12 eps 😩
Didn’t watch this when it came out in Jan and randomly decided to give it a try… omgg so good and we’re getting a 2nd season!? I think there hasn’t been a cdrama I’ve really enjoyed get a 2nd season, this was a pleasant surprise! so excited, now I just gotta finish S1 lol
ikr. i shared the same sentiment with you. It’s good but in the most subtle way possible. i took time savouring…
right! like it’s nothing too extraordinary but that’s precisely what makes it so good, it’s simple yet compelling…? (i can’t even find the right words to describe the feeling of this drama)
but i am living for their mundane moments and the development of their relationship. With each trial they face their feelings get stronger and they grow closer, trusting each other, loving it!
"She confessed her feelings repeatedly, yet his reaction remained muted. Is this a fumble on his part? The narrative…
Wow tyy (for this)! Love your perspective and wholeheartedly agree. As someone who is (also) much like him, maybe even overly cautious, I can empathize with the feeling of being misunderstood and labeled without knowing the thought process and complexity of [our] character. Maybe I digress, but there are so many layers to a person like Dowon. I am happy to see that there are people who see beyond his walls, who understand and appreciate him, and that someone like Oh Yi Young is there for him.
It’s times like this that I think it’s incredible how much I can see myself in a character. Let’s see how their relationship will progress 🥹…
i thought i was doing a good job keeping up with their plan and schemes lol but im about half way thru ep23 and im confused on why fu yun xi is so angry at her? to the point of acting like that (strangling and threatening to kill her)
she said he finally got a taste of being deceived by someone [he] trust but i thought they were both on the same page on everything (guess not 🙃) so how or in what way did she deceive him exactly?
it seems to me like she is really gambling with her and his family’s life… but if anyone can help 🙏🙏🙇♀️

p.s. Also hoping S2 is just as good! Im still on ep 28 rn but anxious to finish it soon 🤭
but i am living for their mundane moments and the development of their relationship. With each trial they face their feelings get stronger and they grow closer, trusting each other, loving it!
im caught up to ep17 😭
idk what it is… it’s so good but in the most subtle way possible. That probably doesn’t make sense lol but im just hooked

their lack communication is what made much of this appear so twisted but i think the reality was far from it
