Maybe it's me but I can't stomach the always devoted husband or partner trope anymore it makes me question their…
Yea but the husband was different in that he himself also kind of rooted for the kingfisher and understood and believed in what he was doing. Also I don’t know where you are seeing all of theee devoted husbands cause all we get is cheating husbands. It was nice to see a loving father and husband for once instead of the typical cheating man or the neglectful husband. He wasn’t devoted all the time btw we seen him conflicted and struggling to the point that he didn’t even call his wife when the daughter was in the hospital.
What I don’t understand about kdramas is that they depict these terrible abusive mother in laws that mistreat and discriminate against their daughter in laws. They cover all these important social issues only to undermine everything by always having the FL say I’m a mother too I understand her. Sometimes they even go as far as saying I would do the same thing if I was in her place. They make the female leads weak and complacent and excuse the vile behavior. She’s so badass at work but weak and pathetic with her husbands family. It has already negatively impacted her daughter once. it’s too much.
I’m not gonna lie I thought I was gonna miss the FL from the previous season but the new FL has completely won me over. I actually prefer this change. she’s fun and bad ass without the typical cold and mean streak they love giving to FL’s. She’s funny and I love how she taunts the ML. The casting team did an excellent job.
second leads in kdrama’s are so aggressive and violent in their behavior. it’s always so unsettling and hard to watch. The story would have been just as good and there’s already so many villains and obstacles in front of the couple that they really don’t need such a character.
I unfortunately had to let the drama go. I just don’t like the way the FL is written. She’s so annoying to me always complaining about something and her reactions are so immature. The chemistry isn’t that great to push though this drama. it’s unfortunate cause I think both actors are talented but I hope this isn’t the drama she dropped Flex X cop for.
Just finishing up episode 8 and it’s a little frustrating that the ML is just trying to do the best to be a professional doctor that respects the wishes of his patients yet everybody in this damn village keeps testing him and trying to force him to abandon his principle. I can understand that the FL was sad about her grandmother but she was kind of unfair to the ML. He did everything he could to support the grandmother and respecting her wishes as a nurse I expected her to be a little more understanding.
I don't find any issue with a woman proposing to a man. It should be more normalized tbh and by that I just mean…
you can make your goals clear without proposing or chasing a man. That’s why it’s important to voice your what’s and needs before entering into a relationship and if the other person doesn’t give you what you need you leave.

everyone is entitled to their own life choices obviously but I would never encourage nor support women asking men to marry them or proposing to them. I believe that anytime a women chases a man or is in love more it’s just ends up in a disaster for her. if a man delays proposing to you it’s cause they don’t want to marry you so it’s time to move on.

I personally would never support such a thing but it’s a free world you can do as you please. I don’t understand proposing to a man that clearly stated that he never wanted to get married and just prefers to cohabitate. You don’t need to wait passively you just need to make your intentions clear at the start of the relationship and leave if that person doesn’t desire the same thing.
I think it's realistic in the sense that they each were investing 7 and 8 years each with these men. It's very…
I found it unrealistic tbh. Seeing her get on her knees like that especially already knowing from last episode that he wanted to break up. He was practically ghosting her already and barely present in their relationship. I think people trying to salvage their marriage is not even comparable to getting on your knees and begging a man that just told you he likes someone else and he no longer loves you. It’s more of a lack of self love.
Omg the women are down bad in this drama. One is proposing to a man and another getting on her knees and begging a man to stay with her. I need the ladies to stand up immediately. it’s killing me cause neither man was even cute enough to be doing all that.
watching the second episode and why would the ML as a doctor drink with the patient with the heart condition. That’s the last person that should be getting black out drunk. Kdrama characters be drinking so much it’s actually kind of scary.
She was so believable in that uniform as a student.
