How you want me to explain? The whole conversation? After reading (some words need google) I feel that is happy ending even though is an open ending. Whole scene was just her daughter and Li SuSu at the river side. Ended with a scene that there was guy behind them and daughter asked who are you. Something like that according to the last page of episode 40.

Feels like BL has had the bad luck to get a script that's failing her......again! And/or bad editing leaving plot…
This I agree. Many great actors with poorly written scripts. I was hoping this was his chance to shine so let’s keep it this way? For me he is the one of the few actors who able to express through eyes/ soulful eyes/ talk with his eyes whatever you call it. Find it very few til I can count with my one hand. Hope for more actors like these.
