Netflix are still miles ahead of Disney+, both in Korea and worldwide in terms of subscribers. But also in terms…
Shoujo-san seems to be talking about the quality of the shows, not the viewership numbers because of course Netflix will be top. Disney seems to have a less is more approach to dramas.
Meh, I'll say pass, I just watched Marry My Husband this week and it was good.
For better or worse I will say that Japanese versions of other dramas, can actually end up being very different. Eg: a crazy drama with twists and turns can end up being a more slower paced character study.
Yeah, from my understanding her contract doesn't allow kissing, so all her dramas do little tricks to make the audience belive, which can be hard to spot unless you know, example they will shoot at a certain angle, or the ML will put his thumb in front of his mouth and act like he is holding her head, or they cut just before.
If they are remaking the original movie - then that's good cause it was needed for sure. I had been waiting for…
Yeah, when ever I saw the movie brought up by people in other forums they say they did not like the movie. So I'm hoping this allows the writer to alter things completely based on feedback (also the original was a movie and this is a series so that might help flesh things out more). Also different directors might help give it a different feel.
The beloved “GBRB” series is gearing up for a new chapter!
On May 21, Xportsnews reported that production company Egg Is Coming is currently planning a new season to follow “GBRB: Reap What You Sow” and its spinoff “GBRB Spinoff: Cafetaria Operation.”
In response to the report, a representative from tvN confirmed, “We are in the planning stages for a new season following ‘GBRB: Reap What You Sow’ and ‘GBRB Spinoff.’ However, specific details have yet to be decided.”
I'm watching e2 right now & seems like Mai You Ge is the FL, I'm confused.
I'm near the end of the show, it's very weird with the assigning of cast roles. As you say 2FL & 2ML have just as big a role as the FL & ML (who you will see soon), but what's more weird is there is a support character with a boy which has also as big a role and their own story, then even weirder than that they, introduce an entire family around episode 10 that then gets their own 2 episodes.
Everything is linked together by the end, but it feels very much like 3 or for different dramas happening at the same time. Many supporting characters could have been mains, but I assume their agencies couldn't negotiate for money and the pay rise.
It is a good show though. the director likes his more realistic view of love and life (as seen in Fake it till you make it).
I mean it will be some cameo appearance (like 1-2mins at most) to appeal to the South Korean market, lots of films do it. Also expect to see some chinese actor show up.
wow the first kdrama amazon has done since september. i was looking forward to it as LDW is my favourite actor.…
Sometimes the humor hits, sometimes it doesn't. In the end though, it is a very easy watch that I imagine will be a drama that people watch in between the bigger shows or to pass time waiting.
Best to just think it is coming in December, and be surprised if it is earlier.

I'm glad she is using this as an opportunity to let people know she is wanting more of these sort of roles.
