Exactly my thoughts too. Also, fun fact. In the webtoon, the storyline of A Good Day to Be a Dog had a gender-bender…
In the webtoon story, the Fl was a man in her past life once and the ML was a girl in the past life. They both also get reincarnated as women the second time (Side Story right after the series finale chapter) and the Mountain spirit tries to hook them up but it was imposibble because both were rivals and can't stand being near each other in that life and if one of them looked at anothet's direction, they will immidiately start physical fight. Then the mountain god waits fot them to reincarnate again .
I kind of wish that Eun Jung got together with the delivery guy. They were actually so cute!
I hoped for the same, but then viewers would have called her out for infidelity. In "Love Affairs in the Afternoon," she played a similar role just before her role here, where she has a dysfunctional marriage and ends up with a guy like the delivery guy in that other story. They would have pointed fingers at her and asked if she is like that in real life as well. They would have made comments on her character. Well, I do remember a while back seeing a few comments saying that their storyline looks like emotional infidelity on her part. In my opinion, it was completely platonic. The delivery guy looked after her out of empathy and basic human decency, and Eun Jung found comfort from him because her own husband was too busy to notice her struggle.
I loved her acting in Birthcare Center. After watching that imaginary sword fight scene, I really wish to see her play in a Sageuk. Or at least a role where she is antagonist. She would nail it.
I really liked her in Birthcare Center and Come and Hug Me. She also barely has any main roles. I really hope to see her in more works. I really like her acting.
getting so unbelievably sick of yunjae's parents. the show keeps trying to portray it as cute and comedic dysfunction…
Finally someone is talking about it. I feel uncomfortable when Yunjae's mom keeps hitting the dad's head and they portray it as comedy. In real life, he could get seriously injured. Also, I didn't like the part where she threw away all his awards and medals he got from his Military Service, like, ??? That was his whole life achievement that she just threw away.
The second love triangle is way more interesting. It would be better if it were the main story. Also, it is the healthiest love triangle I have ever seen in any series or drama. Normally when there is a female character who likes a guy and there is another female character liking the same guy, they both will fight over him and have female rivalry and even villainize the second female. And, if they were friends, their friendship will be ruined, and they will turn into enemies, which makes me sad.
But in this story, this is not the case AT ALL. They had proper and healthy communication and said that they will let Hong Yeong Seok decide whether he will choose one of them or choose none of them. It was not even that long when they became friends and were not even close but were still mature compared to other stories.
