I thought the comments were exaggerating on how bad the “kiss” scene was in ep 11 and they weren’t lying. honestly it is a disappointment but they just executed it quite badly like I would’ve taken their shadows kissing instead lol, it would’ve been better than the whole nonsense cut scene they did I doubt we are gonna get an actual kiss scene in the upcoming episodes but would’ve like if they just done more indirect kisses and intimate chemistry scenes where the chemistry is 🔥and it makes you feel like you’re intruding lol but I still enjoy this drama just rather a shame the kissing scenes kinda ruins the overall experience for many

I knew from the moment I saw the 4 generals, I knew one of them was gonna die and I was hopeful that maybe it wouldn’t be like my suspicions then after watching ep 33 my suspicions arose once again and a lot of things weren’t clicking when I saw WL leave especially if he was gonna escort our fl father why was he going alone?
Lo and behold came her to spoil myself and I was right well I guess nothing can beat years of watching dramas and guessing it’s easy plot devices

also for those saying it’s borderline incest maybe to you but for me the definition of incest includes blood relation and is the fl and ml related by blood? no
I do hate that iqiyi is promoting this as “incest” even tho it’s not and will really lead to misleading assumptions to people who do not know the story from the source material
oh well my expectations for this drama have been lowered a lot but overall this is just my opinion so it’s fine you disagree

It’s been officially one month since it aired, one week since it ended for express package and a day ago since it officially ended for real for real

Yeah it’s hard really really really hard

It’s definitely a slow pace drama where it’s hard to get into especially if you haven’t read the novel which could help ease it but honestly for the romance and fluff, it’s more later on
What I would recommend is just kinda skimming through the later episodes and you decide whether or not you should continue but personally I loved this drama and I hope u can give it chance without looking at the ratings and all

Tbh no luck here either, as much as I am of a kdrama fanatic I don’t really have much kdrama i rewatch, the only one I can remember rewatching 3-4 times was true beauty simply because of the comedic aspect and it was just comforting (not for the romance at all , damn triangle and headaches)
And strong women do bong soon mostly the comedic aspect and leads romance
(But I wouldn’t recommend it much )
Not even Lovely runner or alchemy of souls got me this attached lol (both are one of my fav kdramas)

But right now I would recommend when life gives you tangerines
It’s similar as in it portrays a lot of realistic struggles (slice of life) and a ml who is similar to sangyan who supports the fl and just loves her unconditionally
He even said that if the fl becomes president he would become the First Gentlemen Like how adorable
