Not quite 250 but 220s dramas and a bunch of movies as well. Having watched quite a lot of rom coms. I actually really liked this one. I just finished episode 9 and usually I haven't been feeling Kdramas lately. I kind the new one of my Royal Nemesis sort of boring so far. But I'm watching this one for the first time and it has so much charm and is such a feel good watch. I love the interactions with all the friends and sometimes the coworkers, but ML and FL has so much charm and are so much fun to watch. sure it's cliche, but everything is kind of cliché these days. I think royal nemesis and perfect crown the newer ones were cliche but these felt sort of lacking in comparison.

People didn't like this season but I loved it.

well it was a flip from killing characters but making them come back so they weren't really dead.

it's cliché so much and reused scenes from past Kdramas. that's why. there's not exactly anything new. maybe a re-hash from older Kdramas if anything, for those who are new to Kdramas and might have not watched the older stuff yet.

Like I said, I really didn't say anything offensive. you just get easily offended. (must be immaturity), as I said as well, don't assume if you don't know. ask for clarification at least.

You were the first to find my comment offensive. the other person just asked a question, but I was trying to figure out how to explain the feeling I have. The characters were more annoying than anything from the first episode.

Giving first impressions on a show or any media isn't a new or immature concept. Sometimes something makes you feel a certain way and you want to share. If my feelings or opinion offends you when I didn't say anything exactly mean-spirited to anyone in particular, this just sounds like a personal problem for you alone. use your experience to help you fix this if you must.

But in almost my 40 years of life, I rarely see this amount of annoyance from characters in a show out of the first episode, even from some of my favourite actors in it of which I usually like. It's their character they're portraying, after all and not them personally. I'll remember next time that expressing an opinion is immature. It was nice to think someone thought I was under 20. I miss being so young.

Responses of throwing some assumptions and insults tends to display immature behavior. Maybe my comment offended you? Equally immature, when I really didn't say anything that bad but stated my opinion on how I felt. I only watched the first episode so this was just my first impression. I did say I'll hang in there and try to watch more. Grown-ups can handle someone displaying their feelings or opinions without throwing a tantrum. Have a nice day. :)

I like the FL which is why I'm "just trying here" to get into this drama. I like some of the other actors too. Yet this one just feels too pretentious and annoying to me. I'm ready to drop it but trying to hang in there.

I actually found ML annoying, even though I usually think this actor is cool in other roles, he was cringe in this role. But most of this drama was kind of cringe. I only like the sister character. stopped watching it a few times. trying to watch the last 5 remaining episodes I have left.

I feel like she doesn't get enough credit. Seems like this site doesn't even want to properly credit her and just has her as unknown plus some other work she did which isn't credited. But I can see her being really famous within the next 5-10 years. beautiful and very talented.

they don't have it updated for the girl in the first episode and the one who started the game with her death. but the actress looks like she's Kim Si-ah

I love thriller more than romance genre and most thrillers I rate high. But this one only gets 7.5 from me. decent second half which boosted this score, but very boring first half. if it wasn't just a 2 hour movie, I would've dropped this.

It was boring at first but then became really good. it reminded me of some of Hajime no Ippo and a touch of Yakuza game series with the whole underground boxing gang. both are amazing Japanese series of video games and anime if you like to see something more similar to this.

I meant the dream sequence to show as a reality could've happened at any moment of the series. Not only at the end. Forcing a happy ending with all this suffering and near death and all that bleeding and x2 amnesia is very unrealistic than a bittersweet ending. Which wouldn't be forced at all. It's reality that if you bleed out and get injured all those times, you're likely to die. Especially in those times when their medical care wasn't as advance. At best, even a disability like a lost limb or not being able to walk. But he walked around like he was completely fine, maybe a scar or few. That's my only gripe with the injuries and near death experience for him to be 100% fine, just to force this happily ever after ending. Yes, even you admit a happy ending is unexpected, because it's completely unrealistic with all this suffering.

It is what it is. still a good drama. I'm just stating for those who wonder how they can actually end up together in the end and it all be just fine. Unrealism is why.

you know this scene could've been inserted at any moment, right? not just the very end. I understood the parallels from the dream to the reality at the end. this still doesn't make it realistic for all the injuries he received and still lived. sickness from a disease that'll normally kill most people. getting amnesia twice then suddenly remembering so easily (also very unrealistic).

don't get me wrong, it's a very sweet and touching love story. but everything leading up to it, very very exaggerated and likely to not ever happen in real life just to force a happy ending rather than a tragic. if this was a Japanese story, he would've died from his injuries in war but left a very touching and sweet love behind, because the Japanese likes to make bittersweet stories. Kdramas tend to love their happy endings, even if forced.

yes, this is kind of like a reboot or alternate dimension from the first, since they don't really acknowledge the first season in the 2nd one.

seems somewhat unrealistic that he survived what feels like half a dozen time when most would've died. that's probably why.

Been eyeing this one for a few years when I finished watching hospital Playlist a few years back. Since I turned 39 years old this year in January already and a few months into being 39. I just started watching now since it seems like a good time to watch it and see if I can relate.

I just finished the series. I always stayed caught up every week, since I actually enjoy this drama.

I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews and I think most are rating based on their feelings rather than the realism or message of this drama.

Japan dramas tend to do bittersweet dramas. where there might be a love and loss. often someone might die from an illness or something like this.

It's actually a little more realistic in this situation for this to happen, especially when there was a lot of foreshadowing of them not lasting if they lived apart. from the initial break-up and cultural differences to ML not being good at staying in touch.

the message here is fleeting moments of happiness. they had their moments of great happiness, meeting and falling in love, and from this, it built them up as a person. together they helped one another get further in their goals and careers and dreams by motivating and bringing a piece of culture and certain love for food home with them.

so while many gave it a low or mixed score. I liked this one and gave it 8.5 out of 10.

oh boy. I'm in trouble if they start adding all anime here. especially when I have over 3000 listed on myanimelist and even many on anilist. I can't even keep up to export my list to anilist and they'd have to allow export here otherwise it'll take forever to add them all
