I agree, most of them are lukewarm, but I think people are giving them a low ratings because of the toxic character
If there are no toxic characters, a story can often feel dull. I recently finished watching Heart Stain (Korean) and Impression of Youth (Taiwan), and while both lacked any toxic relationships, I found them quite boring, lacking depth and excitement in their plots. In contrast, dramas that include villains and toxic dynamics tend to be far more engaging, making viewers eagerly anticipate each new episode.
How does anyone still like Seonghyeon after he reciprocated something with a drunk person? Intoxicated people…
100% agreed with you. Story definitely make sense and we’re only into episode 4. What if there’s more to the story so don’t judge too early. It’s not everyone cup of tea but definitely mine.
Only 7.9? I have watched over 40+ Korean BL dramas, and I must say this is one of the best I have ever seen. The acting is exceptional, the cinematography is excellent, and, most notably, the plot twist was truly surprising. Definitely should be over 8.
[Spoiler Alert] Could someone kindly tell me who Da On ends up with? As much as I adore Seong Hyeon, I genuinely wish it would be Su Hyeon. Imagine the emotional journey—keeping such a significant secret from your lover for so many years, going abroad to study because of him, and then returning to work for the company because of him as well. Hiding from your family and have to go on useless blind date. The pain he must be enduring is truly heart-wrenching.
Episode 9 - So Fadel's ex boyfriend ghosted him and dated Keen? I tried to rewatch but not sure if they are the same person due to different hair style. Can anyone confirm please?
What the hell happened to episode 3??? Episode 1 and 2 was so good. I felt Episode 3 was such a let down. That hotel manager is so annoying, the third couple NC scenes was unnecessary. We want to see more of the main and side couples.
