I agreed at first, but after reading more and doing some research, I found out they are in Class 3, meaning their characters are 18 or 19 years old. The actors are also 26 years old in real life. If both the characters and actors were under 18, then it would not be okay, but that is not the case here.

Really? I’m the complete opposite 😂 I absolutely loved it! But at the end of the day, one person’s trash is another person’s treasure.

I’m actually a massive zombie apocalypse fan, so my standards are pretty high. I’ve played The Last of Us, which is still one of the best apocalypse games ever made and won hundreds of awards, and I’ve watched everything from The Walking Dead to Korean zombie series like All of Us Are Dead and Kingdom. I’ve pretty much gone through most of the major Western and Asian zombie apocalypse stories 😂

That’s why I’m honestly surprised by how much I’m loving this one. A BL zombie apocalypse is exactly what I’ve been waiting for! It’s also our first proper BL in this genre, so realistically I never expected it to have the same massive budget as a Netflix K Drama or a major Western production. For what it is, though, it’s definitely up there for me and I’m having such a good time watching it.

I am so excited because I literally just finished The Summer You Kissed Me, and now I get to see Chen Rui Wang again! I still cannot get that scene from Episode 1 out of my head when he was painting himself with that perfect naked body on full display hahaha. Apparently that image has decided to live rent free in my brain forever. I guess we both have a crush on him now, so at least I know I am not alone hahaha.

We don’t have 1, not 2, not 3, but 21 popular BL actors in one zombie apocalypse series! It’s on Netflix, and while Zomvivor itself isn’t a BL, seeing so many familiar BL actors thrown into a zombie apocalypse was so much fun.

You get to see who is smart enough to survive, who makes the dumbest decisions, who completely loses it and who turns into an absolute badass when the zombies arrive.

You know, it’s actually perfect for both of us living in Australia because BLs always seem to air around 10pm on Fridays, while people in the US have to wake up at like 5 or 6am to watch them.

I can already imagine both of us watching this with our heaters on. Winter may have just finished, but it’s still freezing where I am. Such a perfect Friday night series to watch when it’s cold outside.

Yes, I was just about to reply to your post, but you were one step ahead of me! I love this series so much. Sometimes underrated gems like this are the absolute best. I enjoyed it so much that I’ve already written a review haha.

I just finished the first two episodes of The Last Oath and I am already craving the next two in 23 hours! After watching 500+ BLs over more than 10 years, I have always wanted a proper zombie apocalypse BL, and it has FINALLY happened. We have fast and terrifying zombies, blood and gore, brutal deaths, epic fighting, gorgeous post apocalyptic scenery, characters actually searching abandoned buildings for food and supplies, a mysterious immune lead, a badass special agent fighting zombies with dual knives, two gorgeous male leads with amazing chemistry AND actual BL romance. It gives me major The Last of Us vibes, and with 24 episodes and four episodes releasing every week, we are getting a proper full length story. If you love Zombie Apocalypse, Survival, Action, Enemies to Lovers and BL, DO NOT MISS THIS!
