I started watching this drama because I wanted to watch something similar to Blood of Youth and Mysterious Lotus Casebook. I'd rate this drama lower than BoY and MLC but still, it was pretty good. The worst shortcoming of the drama to me was the pacing. It was pretty darn terrible. The other thing that bothered me was whether this drama will have a happy ending or not. I just finished watching it and I'm pretty satisfied. What I'd say is watch this drama if you are into adventure, mystery, fantasy, youth genres with touch of bromance. A rating of 8 from me.

The writers are probably trying to make the drama fit the tastes of all audiences. But at this rate nobody is going to be happy because it's going to be half assed attempt at both genres.

Exactly. I found that fishing/holding hands scene so cringe!

I didnt like the puppet arc at all. It was just plain weird. Personal opinion tho.

Let me join the old and cranky bandwagon too then. I too feel romance is not really needed in this drama. They could have had more screen time focusing on the friendship of the 4.

Dang. The main reason for me to watch this drama was the friendship between the leads. Wish they would keep romance out of it.

Love triangle, no. I don't think so. Frankly I like it when romance is kept to a minimum in drama of this genre

Really hope for a happy ending for this drama. Not an open ending like mlc, but a proper happy ending.

I also thought the same in the beginning. But then he kinda grows on you later.

Does anyone know who the title refers to? Tiger is Hu Ze and Crane is Qi Xiaoxuan? Or someone else?

Same here. I was waiting for it to finish airing and now everyone here sounds pissed. I'd rather not watch it if the endings gives me a headache

I've watched all the dramas in top 10 and I really believe MLC deserves to be No. 1. The only other contender that I'd even consider for no. 1 position would be NIF

Watch Mysterious Lotus Casebook. It's a bit similar to Blood of youth. Best wuxia drama this year according to my personal opinion.
