Out of curiosity, does anyone know what dialect they are speaking in this drama?

I tried to watch this drama a few months back but didn't really get the narrative style. But later I realized it's a live action adaptation of a web comic/ anime and was then able to thoroughly enjoy watching it. I guess with this kind of drama (like Blood of Youth), you'll be able to enjoy them more if you make certain allowances knowing that they are adapted from anime/ manga/ webcomics. The only complaint I have (if it can even be called one) is that there were too few scenes of Wang Ye. He's my favourite character.

This is the only installment in the lost tomb franchise that I really enjoyed watching. Although I tried, I ended up dropping most of the other versions. I loved the cast and their chemistry. Hope lost tomb 3 will have the same cast, or at least the same main cast.

Exactly. I hate the women against women trope in drama which reduces women to shallow two dimensional characters. This is such a feel-good drama because it did justice to the female characters.

Still in a slump after watching this masterpiece and I still keep thinking about the characters. I think the character I identify most with is You Lan. It felt like the author/ director personified the feelings of all of us drama watchers through her character. Again, what a masterpiece!

God, what a ride! It's been ages since I watched a drama this satisfying. And that last episode... THAT'S how you end a drama! 10/10 from me.

I think so too. I mean if the whole point of dropping the dramas without promotion is to take everyone by surprise, what's the point if everyone knows the date when they are released? In fact, these rumours might be a better reason for the dramas to not be released on May 1st. That being said, I am hoping so badly that we will see both the dramas on May 1st.

This drama could have been good but the fact that ZR is pretty much a god who can just about do anything is making me lose interest. I would have liked to see some character growth from ZR but not seeing anything of the sort as of yet (on episode 19 now). I love the bromance yes, but it looks to me SY is just a sidekick who only serves as a contrast for ZR to shine. I hope it gets better.

I really wanted to like this drama but I'm struggling to connect with the characters and the story. Will give it a few more episodes and see. Hope it will get better.
