That’s like the point đź’€ you want Joseon woman speak South Korean speech?! Please Use your brain once in a…
thats the same posture in the josteon era and when shes wearing a hanbok in modern time it's on purpose. "no matter the era" this is not 10 or 30 years but 300 years go watch historical dramas and see how people in joseon era act. i mean its in ep 1 shes not even a regular person but a royal consort obviously she need to have an authoritative tone
fml’s acting is soo bad!!! wasn’t she a ROYAL in jeoseon era? in the beginning she was shown such powerful…
i dont really understand ur comment . she always stood up for herself and had a temper even as a low level court lady how she took revenge on those girls that bullied her. she was only timid in front of the prince in the beginning bc shes a maid clearly a low rank who always have to bow down. but in flashbacks when they got closer she still "talks back" and maintain that personality
her personality after she time traveled was the same when she was a royal consort. acting high and mighty literally cursing everyone out. even to ep 8 right now she has never "lost" to ML and always talk back. she's a royal consort but she wasnt from a noble background and was sold to slavery before she came to the palace thats why she got bullied and she had a 'villain' reputation when she became consort
to be a royal consort u basically just have to be favored by the king and get "seungeun" or royal favor, basically summoned by the king to spend the night with him and become a consort. so the king probably made her a consort to drive the prince mad and secure the crown.
Honestly wouldn't keep watching if Yeri wasn't in this. The plot is bad and hard to root for FL that appears in most of the screentime. Hyein is unreasonable and has no morals as the rich kids that she hates. Meanwhile Jena is not even a bully and is reasonably rude to the homewrecking teacher and Hyein who robbed her shoes and assaulted her. Maybe would be fun if they start working together to solve the murder but with 2 eps left idk where the plot is going.
This drama is not a "shit show" tbh. Idk how many dramas you've watched but the plot, though being a "romantic…
Honestly I thought u were being sarcastic in the beginning and realize you’re dead serious with the “great characterization”. FL walking in with a broken shoe and fake playing piano is supposed to be “acing an interview”? Her response is nothing special and would be what most of what the average people would do. ML great character of.. check notes: parachuting to his job, rude demeanor to seniors, offering an intern a fulltime job without knowing their competence, oh and of course slomo close up shots of how hot he looks in expensive suits. Hes the ceo son ofc theres no consequence if he stand up to mean seniors. Its not brave but entitled to literally parachute to an internship.
Its the average cliche romcom from the 2000s with worse writing... the main selling point is probably gonna be the cinematography from different countries but the script falls flat as expected from the synopsis. It's not ridiculous funny like Gaus Electronics or situational funny like A Business Proposal. Watching for Yoona and Junho but the script is bland, I'll try one more ep and drop if it's still the same.
