We all saw how they were supposed to kiss, and Lil Jane really avoided kissing him. Thankfully, a call came in and saved him. Dan actually knows that Lil Jane never liked him. I don’t even think they hugged until the breakup part lol. Please get your facts straight
I was genuinely scared to watch Episode 9 because of the comments I kept seeing. Some people were calling Little Jane a red flag, and I even saw someone say, “All Little Jane knows how to do is open his legs.” After reading all that, I went into the episode expecting the absolute worst.
And honestly? I think some of y’all need to put yourselves in Little Jane’s shoes for a second.
Yes, Big Jane offered to help. Yes, he could easily afford the money. But why are people acting like Little Jane was supposed to immediately accept it, hug him, kiss him, and pretend everything was fine? Real people don’t work like that.
We all grieve differently. We all deal with pressure differently. Little Jane had just watched his family get dragged into another disaster because of Jet. He was hurt, overwhelmed, frustrated, and trying to figure out how to handle a situation that never should have happened in the first place. Expecting him to instantly accept millions from his boyfriend and act like nothing is wrong is unrealistic.
And let’s be honest if Big Jane paid for everything, what happens the next time Jet messes up? The next family crisis? Does everyone just start assuming Big Jane will always fix it because he has money? I can completely understand why Little Jane was uncomfortable with that.
And a red flag is someone who consistently shows toxic, manipulative, controlling, dishonest, or abusive behavior. Being hurt, setting boundaries, or needing time to process your emotions is NOT a red flag.
I think some people are so desperate for Big Jane and Little Jane to get back together that they completely ignored what Little Jane was feeling in that moment. If you’re avoiding Episode 9 because of the comments, watch it yourself and form your own opinion. Because after watching the episode, I genuinely don’t understand how some of y’all came to the conclusion that Little Jane is the red flag.
I’ll need several days to fully comprehend how precious and incredible the ending of a winter sun was. I just finished watching it and genuinely cannot stop crying. This was the BL of the year for me, I love this drama with my whole heart. The story, the characters, the emotions, everything about it was so beautifully done. AWS has genuinely given me one of the most stunning settings I’ve ever seen in a BL. I cannot believe it’s already over. Thank you zelia for giving us such a masterpiece ❤️
Everything happening in this drama feels so out of place. Why does everyone seem to know each other’s problems? I mean at least show us how they found out. Do they all have magical powers or something? Things just happen without any explanation. I’m enjoying it so far tho but since Episode 5 a lot of the scenes have felt disconnected and out of place
I’ve been watching it since it started airing. I’ve never been this invested in a drama before. I’m so down bad for a winter sun, it’s so sad that it’s ending next week. I could watch 100 more eps of Changyang and Qinglang being all domestic
