The last two weeks of a drama are supposed to be the best and they start of with this. Ep 9 was disappointing as hell. The plot just deep dove into a very ugly rabbit hole from where recovery seems tough. I'll check back in tomorrow and hopefully the director gives this drama some saving grace.
I'm actually the on3 translating it. https://www.wattpad.com/story/408471292?utm_source=android&utm_medium=link&utm_content=share_writing&wp_page=create&wp_uname=AdlTt0
Best Part of Ep 8: I really enjoyed the part where she was trying to pretend to care for Huiju but quickly understood she was a more tough nut to crack than she imagined. Huiju and her secretary's cute chemistry and also Do biso stating to fall for Choi Hyeon. Ian actually starting to utillize his power as Reagent, oh the satisfaction of him putting people in their place(even the Queen)
Questions after 8 whole episodes: 1. Min Jeongwoo is an actual opportunist, instead of trying to pursue Huiju himself, he's taking advantage of the chaos to sow discord among the couple. Why dude why? 2. What the hells is wrong with Huiju's dad? Man you have been enabling every person in society to bully your daughter by openly showing your dislike of her and now you want to be some pariah and seek justice. 3. Has the Queen gone crazy or was she crazy from the begining itself???
And last but not the least, after 8 whole eps I can comprehend how well Huiju understands and cares for Ian (not just romantically). Like the fact she was the first to figure out that part from Ian that she was not the actual assassination target and her first reaction was to warn him. She really is on his side irrespective of the situation.
I was astonished to see Huiju’s father slap Ian. After a lifetime of mistreating her, he’s suddenly a protective…
Hypocrisy at its best. I bet he even brainwashed his son to dislike his sister, kids learn what they see. Seeing his father mistreat Huiju, must have enabled him to do the same.
Thoughts after ep 7: How much do these people hate Ian??? Like they turned the happiest day of his life into his greatest nightmare.
And what the hell is wrong with Huiju's dad?? He was the one who cheated and probably abandoned Huiju and her mother, but he decides its all its daughter's fault.
Well not according to the trailer. But in the original novel even though Luojia is a monarch, he is also a Buddhist disciple who grew up in the Temple instead of the Royal Palace. So yes he has a shaved head.
OMG I can't wait for this one. It was a long novel but the story is quite nice and each character is really complex. I saw the trailer and am I glad that they didn't make Hong Yi shave his head.
In his defense, she has been HEAVILY influenced to leave him over and over again by her family & friends.…
I love Cai Zhao....in strength of character she feels that she is inferior to her aunt but not really. Even after she took those seven lashes and decided to leave MQY(this guy has such a long name I swear) she never wanted to look for someone else. She had already given away her heart and she knew she could never feel the same way about some one else.
On second note I love her parents. Cause they told her not to bully her husband cause he now had no close kin except her and lived a life of misfortune. Ning Xiaofeng really needs to have a separate book on how to diss people so bad they cant even retaliate.
Mu Qingyan is such a complex character but at the same time so foolish in love acting like a kid. His possessiveness and jealousy knows no bounds(Like he's even jealous of his own son) . On the day he marries Cai Zhao he is actually scared that she might be influenced by other sect leaders to run away from the wedding .
WHHHEEEEENNNNN???? Exactly when does Dmd plan to release this ?????? We waited a whole year for this series...I have already lost patience . Just release the episode already . Or at least give us a date
To be true the novel doesn't officially introduce the side couple ...Just that Jettana follows the persons he like all the way to Seoul. I'm not sure if they have a separate novel
So I read the novel and loved it. Its so soft and serene like no extreme plot twists or anything, it actually feels like two normal people falling in love.
And reading through I realized this is set in the same universe as Star in my mind and Sky in you Heart. So Qin is actually Dao and Fah's maternal cousin, basically their moms are sisters.
OMG ep 10 was ..just OMG. What do I start with? The fact that the series is nearly at its end or that Namping's acting in the vision where he falls off the terrace was phenomenal. Then there's the story about Paran's past life and Net's cameo. I was really curious as to who they had cast as Kachain...and boy was I surprised.
But one thing I must say.....even if you get nothing in life, having a friend like Jet would make it worthwhile.
So I ended up reading the novel...and it's such a bittersweet story. The story consists of 2 novels spanning 3 lifetimes. As one can guess the first lifetime was a stab to the readers heart...cause it had me shedding silent tears (yes its that sad). The second lifetime has a more or less happy ending. But the final timeline is probably the sweetest
