Another perspective to think about. I think it’s stupid but there are crazy fanatics people spammming to boast about how good their idols drama is on this site. And sometimes they get jealous that the other airing dramas are doing well. So they come and make hate comment. It’s really dumb but some Chinese celebs have very toxic fandoms. I’ve been commenting on this show since airing and this page is not that bad. Most are watching the drama just for the drama, and because they genuinely like it. Anyway, people probably have encountered haters spamming on purpose so they overreacted to you. There’s an airing drama that I watched that I think is overrated but I protect my energy by not posting negatively on their page lol. Or they will come after me.

I’m not a fan of anyone in this drama. Yet I enjoyed the chemistry and comedy so much, the only drama that I watched until the end like Dafeng

Definitely NOT a happy ending. Haven’t seen such a sad ending in years. Like nobody got a happy ending…. These jianghu xian-xia dramas rarely get happy ending imo.

Different people different taste. This drama might not be your preference then. Maybe just drop it? I like this drama and gave it high rating. But for the double, I couldn’t get past ep 10. Nobody is wrong for liking what they like

Im rewatching this with Vietnamese sub and I get why the literal meaning of the title in Chinese mean “bend the back (bow down)”. That was a phrase Man Man grandpa used . He told her to make WS bend his back to her (meaning to submit basically). Sad the beauty of the Chinese language often gets lost in English translation
