What this drama is actually about? What is role of Zhang Miao Yi & Chang Hua Sen? I get that it has multiple stories or cases. Does the lead solve this horror cases or what?
I wished they included a scene between the Emperor & Yan Li's mother. In no way she didn't know that the Emperor was her husband. I want know what she really did with the scrolled at the end of the series. Iβm also curious whether the leads revealed the Emperorβs crime to the public and the court. Also does everyone know that Yan Li is also a Royal member.
Through the beginning we learn yan li is the adopted son of emperor and yan li earned his title through his father…
I don't get it why Empress Dowager have to sent Yan Han away. At that time she can raised both of her sons. I get that she didn't have much power at that time as she was a Concubine & Empress was giving her hard time at that time. But she still could have raised her children with the Emperor's help. Also how can having twins be called imperial offence when she wasn't even Empress at that time.
yall just talk for talking sake, they gave him 0 importance? how YOUKU literally released a CP version of TPR…
I also know that he is 2nd billing. I watched some of his series were he is 2nd billing such as "Story of Kunning Palace", "My Journey to You", " Tiger and Crane" & "Loveβs Rebellion" there his screen time wasn't less. I was disappointed & I express it. And I started watching this series because of him also I didn't like the story. It always felt incomplete and it's also quite obvious that he has less screen time.

First of all, many C-Dramas are female point of views but the ML screen in those series were as much a FL. Second YOUKU have to released CP TRP as people liked them together. Okay I get that in "The Princess Royal" he has more screen time but here he didn't have much. It could've been great if they showed Jiang Qiao Xi struggle with his mother then in Hong Kong. Or solve his relationship with his parents but nothing happened. I am just disappointed with the script & I'm allowed to express it and it's not for talking sake. All I want is when I'm watching a series of my favorite actor or actress he/she get they fruitful result their hard work paid off. I don't think it's a narrow thinking when you want something good for your favorite.
I noticed that, I started the show for him and Iβm like heβs literally not getting any screen time and heβs…
He had full screen time only in last 4 episode. Seriously a waste of time. I also got bored but I completed it only for Zhang Ling He. I watch the series of 2x speed also skipping time to time. I completed it within two days ππ
Half the way through the series, I can literally count how many times Zhang Ling He screens presence. If you're a fan of Zhang Ling He & want to see this series just for him, just don't bother. I'm watching it for Zhang Ling He otherwise I wouldn't even be bothered. What a waste of time! Why cast a rising star actor when he isn't seen much just for promotion? Are the director & screenwriter the same as "The Princess Royal" both series gave him 0 importance. I have nothing against the rest of the cast however, I'm frustrated with the writer & director. Why cast him when you aren't utilizing him properly?
The audacity of Jiang Qiao Xi saying that he can choose freely but she cant. Oh hello madam the guy doesn't even have a right to choose his own favorite color & you're saying freely. Like seriously?
doubt it. most modern cdramas have about this many episodes.
OH! What a relief to know that. ππToo much scenes getting cut out can effect a drama badly. And our favorite Censor board love to do that ππ
Who said that? Many Chinese dramas have great moments of romance. They are building the relationship through long…
You didn't get my point. Want I want to know is the political angle or schemes of the story good enough to watch or to skip because I was really disappointed with Kill Me Love Me. Where as, in Story of Kunning Palace, The Double & Love Like The Galaxy executed the revenge & political angles very beautifully. Also in The Prisoner of Beauty, it was more focus into romance than political plot & they presented it very beautiful specially the actors chemistry and A Journey to Love has more brotherhood, unity elements. In each of these dramas there is no misunderstanding even if there was it was resolve every quickly. But I read that The Princess Gambit has misunderstand & amnesia plot I hate amnesia twist. And also maximum Chinese dramas adds misunderstanding between leads which is unnecessary for which a lot of screen time when on ML cozying FL.
I have no problem if it has less romance as Chinese dramas are famous for making the leads end up together or confess their love for each other at the very last moment of the whole drama. What I want to know is that does the political games or plots, twists, mind-games of lead good enough for me to watch? I don't want to experience another "Kill Me Love Me" moment, I had a lot of expectation about that but it disappointed me. So, I don't want another disappointment. I've seen in social that the FL will have amnesia in the 2nd half, I knowing that I am reluctant to watch it even more.
