I know right. They’re really obsessed with ZLH. They basically responded to my weeks old post where I talked about ZLH getting hate after the popularity of POJ.

I also think they are botting likes. Because tell me how someone can get likes in 3 hours. It takes me a full day to get likes from others on here.

That’s not the main point of my post. It’s really up to the people he is apologizing to accept his apology or not. That’s a different topic.

My main point is people are using that as an excuse to hate on him when (in fact) they already hated him before that incident. Just check Reddit and you’ll see people admitting they already hated him before that controversy blew up. Plus lots of other cdrama actors/actresses fans only use that controversy in fanwars to attack him or his fandom. Just check the comments below.

Tbh it’s not just here and X, where people are hateful towards him. For example, Reddit used to be positive or at least neutral towards him. But since POJ happened, the attitude there towards him changed.

And I’m surprised his international fandom is still not that big. He’s been one of my favorite cdrama actors since MJTY.

I don’t understand why people started hating on him. When I first got into cdramas, he was one of the most loved cdrama actors. Before anyone says it is because of those dumb comments he made on a variety show (which he already apologized for), the hate started before that. I think it started with the success of Pursuit of Jade.

The thing is SAL went very viral before it even aired. IQiyi put out a trailer and a couple materials and those things went viral. While for this drama, I think iQiyi barely put out a trailer a week before it’s airing date.

I’m sorry but I’m not sure if you’re trolling here because she does not really use a “baby” voice in this drama. I could understand if you meant in her earlier dramas especially lbfad.

I’m not sure if this is an unpopular opinion but I feel Road To Success will do better than SAL did domestically. With the buzz around the World Cup and the promo it’s getting from iQiyi , I see it doing better. Plus iQiyi was definitely pushing SAL more towards International audiences when it was airing.

Hmmm…this is my first time hearing someone saying she is “acting like herself.” Which I don’t see. In MJTY, her character is very serious and nonchalant. And in her current drama, she may be bubbly in some moments, but her character is very shy and reserved for most of the drama. But you’re immune to your own opinion.

What are you talking about? The drama she is going to film next is a revenge drama.

I find this discussion very interesting because she isn’t the only actress that uses a “baby” voice for her roles but she always gets the most criticism. And don’t worry her next role is more mature.

Wdym? Her acting is fine. Just because she does lots of cutesy roles doesn’t make her a bad actress. Anyways, you can just check out My Journey To You or her upcoming drama if you don’t like cutesy roles.

Tbh I think her character is being cutesy because her character is still currently a teenager. I heard there will be a time gap later so we’ll probably see her growth.

Anyways, I feel this drama has been given lots of love. On reels, it going super viral and getting lots of praise. (Probably the most viral Cdrama in the longest time) Also on here, it’s getting mostly positive comments. I remember with Ski into Love there were more harsh comments towards her.

Yeah. I’m used to it by now. I really liked her in LGIEF so I don’t have a problem with it. I’m just going to wait for more episodes to see how the story goes.

Tbh I haven’t seen that much hype. The only time I saw a viral edit was when it mentioned Sang Zhi and other HL characters. This goes to show HL was and still is very big.

Maybe it’s just my ig feed. But I’ve seen more edits about The Best Thing and even that youth drama, Always Home.

Well, that other fandom should be more worried about other things than people preferring czy’s visuals. Because that other fandom’s drama is being heavily criticized in China rn. Fans of the novel are not happy with the adaptation.

And as a reader of both Manhuas, djx was always described as the more handsome one out of the two friends. While both characters are handsome but djx is described as the more popular friend not only due his brighter personality but also due to his visuals. So it’s not a big deal because the author intended for djx to be more handsome.

Well…even with those issues , TWOT is still quite successful. In China, it’s on the top 3 for multiple charts. It is also #1 on the iQIYI app for multiple countries and it has gone viral on social media. So, I would say it’s doing very well both domestically and internationally despite some of its flaws.

I read an article where cnetz praised both of the leads acting but have mixed opinions on the pacing and plot. IMO that’s fine because this has always been a problem in the c-ent. Cdramas are still not that great when it comes to script writing/building up a story. But it is a growing industry and the quality has improved in recent years.

No, it’s Youku that has a Netflix deal. But Netflix does put very popular Tencent dramas on Netflix while they are airing. For example, Amidst a Snowstorm of Love and Love Game in Eastern Fantasy.
