I guess she learned to love him. She is the type who sticks to her decision, no second-guessing. So she hasn't shown any sign she bears me any ill-will for encouraging her to choose someone who turned out to be moody with an explosive temper. Reminds me so much of KSH with his good boy looks but rotten core. So, we should never forget, don't judge a book by its cover.
I value education highly and placed South Korea on a pedestal for the value they place on education. Sure, as SKY Castle showed, there are Koreans who do crazy stuff to get the highest possible level of education, but that didn't detract from the respect I had on SK. Surely, with such highly educated people, they must know more about doing the right thing than countries not as educated, that's why they're among the most developed countries in the world. Right? They are #19 in HDI (Human Development Index), ahead of the US which is #20. But who would have thought that behind that "developed" facade, their laws pertaining to the rights of women and children are so primitive? So primitive that a predator can cry crocodile tears in a no-question presscon to wring public sympathy while his victim, who had been bullied and extorted to death, is denied even the barest form of respect and instead is still being maligned to the rafters.

For decades, KSH fooled millions into believing him to be a good boy when he was a narcissistic sociopath. And now that I have woken up from my infatuation with kdrama male leads, I regret finding excuses for my relative's husband's manner when he raised his voice at her in public, at least on 2 occasions, in family gatherings. He is foreign born and raised but his parents came from SKorea. I'm aware we should not generalize, but until SKorea changes its laws to remove misogynism, we should be wary of thinking kdrama actors are anywhere near as nice as kdramas portray them to be. As the twitter post above says, "Korean dramas are able to sell their fantasy because reality is absolute **** and you have to look out for yourself because nobody can protect you. Certainly not the Korean law."

Ugh, I wish I had known about Koreans' misogyny long before my relative got married. I would have done everything I could to stop her. I had already noticed the guy's tendency to yell. But it was during that time when I was still into kdramas, so I made excuses like blind KSH supporters. Women all over the world should be warned against Korean guys.
With this case, misogyny in South Korea has been exposed to the whole world. Apparently, sexual abuse of female minors is more common in SKorea than acceptable in a less misogynistic society. https://x.com/Justtvibing/status/1909456920806650134
It's not surprising that they have a declining population problem. If I were a Korean woman, I would hesitate to bring a daughter into that society.
I now feel guilty for encouraging a relative to marry a Korean guy.
KSH is done. He has been featured in New York Times and CNN, meaning his name has now the stain of pedophilia attached to it globally. Whether he is exonerated in court or not, that stain will remain with him forever, especially for those who are familiar with South Korea's atrocious laws against pedophilia that favor perpetrators over victims. Add to it the universal tilt of justice towards the rich and powerful and those who are seeking justice for Saeron have an uphill battle. It's ironic that those who scream "innocent until proven guilty" seem like they're after justice but they're probably hoping Korea's lenient laws against pedophiles could deny the justice due Saeron. But they're underestimating the power of "trial by media". Considering the huge imbalance in power between the two sides, with KSH towering over Saeron's side in terms of money and powerful connections, "trial by media" is probably the best way Saeron can find justice. KSH may have the Korean media in his pay, but international media would be harder to buy. And there was a time when the US media condemned another liar who denied having relations with a woman. In that case, it was the denial that condemned him because once you are caught lying, you have proven yourself unworthy to be trusted. And KSH lied at least three times. He will be known as a pedophile and a liar forever. Whether he apologizes to her family or not, Saeron has been vindicated. He did have a relationship with her.
What a vile narcissistic sociopathic coward! He didn't apologize for what he did to Saeron and said they were just a "REGULAR couple who genuinely loved each other". He really didn't see anything wrong with him at 27 dating a girl at 15. And since he didn't accept questions, he ignored the question about when they met which could have led to questions of when he started pursuing Saeron which could have been when she was around 13 or younger, since her aunt said he pursued her for years before they dated. And what about the 700 million won debt he harassed Saeron about? He's just sorry "the deceased can't rest in peace" then totally showed his insincerity by suing her family fo12 billion won! He didn’t care about Saeron at all, much less apologize to her family. That press conference was for the benefit of his fans and probably Disney+. It was all about himself.
By definition, a press conference is a meeting where a public figure gives information and ANSWERS QUESTIONS. But KSH will not be answering questions, so what is the event for? An opportunity for him to tell more lies and slander a dead girl further without giving anybody else a chance to refute his lies and slander? The only acceptable reason for KSH to have a press conference without a question-and-answer portion would be if he APOLOGIZES to Saeron and her family and announces his RETIREMENT from the industry. Anything less would just prove his narcissistic and sociopathic cowardice.
Critical thinking, the ability to analyze available facts, evidence, observations, and arguments to make sound conclusions or informed choices. is what the process of brainwashing takes away from the subjects, who subsequently act like members of a cult. When KSH denied his relationship with KSR then retracted when her family showed evidence, when he denied going to her house and about being the guy washing the dishes in her house then threatened to sue the family for posting a photo of him without pants while washing dishes in her house, it was clear to critical thinkers that he is a LIAR. And considering his failure to protect her when she was being cyberbullied, her text to him about the debt he and GM have been torturing her to pay, his failure to attend her funeral and his continuing to bully a dead girl, another ugly truth about him came to light - his sadistic, unscrupulous, narcissistic and sociopathic nature. His cultish supporters, who have lost all critical thinking ability, can't see what is apparent to his ad sponsors, Disney+, the mayor of Taiwan and those clamoring for justice for KSR.
Scratching my head wondering why KSH and GM are trying their hardest to make a DEAD girl look as bad as they can make her. Don't they realize this doesn't erase his lies about not dating her, not going to her place, not washing the dishes, not pressuring her about her debt, or the fact that he ignored her cries for help and didn't attend her funeral? The only thing these attacks on a DEAD girl do is show clearly that KSH has no iota of honor, respectability, integrity, decency and humanity left in him.
I can't believe people still support this sicko. This is the reason perverts like him think they can keep being perverts. Even if you are not creeped out by a grown man grooming a minor, probably 12 or 13 years old since her parents found out they were dating when she was 15 and her aunt said ksh pursued ksr for years, put yourself in her shoes, when you're down and out and you receive a notice from his agency that you owe them 700 million won, an amount they told you before you didn't owe them. You try contacting him, but he doesn't answer. Instead, his agency sends another notice pressuring you to pay up. You don't have the money or a good job that can enable you to save that amount quickly. To get his attention, you post a photo of the two of you. Because of this, you are cyberbullied by his fans. He denies your relationship and leaves you to face the cyberbullying on your own. What would you feel? Saeron committed suicide because of this pervert's cruelty. And you still support him? I really don't think any person who can think logically would. So I would assume now that KSH "supporters" are just part of his water army that he paid to support him.
Kdiddy fans saying saeron's family stopped releasing evidence against him. They are making up lot of posts. Is…
KSH/Gm have released an army to post pro-KSH content. They're spamming twitter, making it a pain to look for posts relating to this scandal. They're probably also here in mdl.
Anyone else received these? Or is it just me? 🤔Your comment has been deleted due to a violation of our community…

You’re right. He was a predator toying with his prey. Revolting! Regarding Kim Yoo Jung, that smile on his face before he hugged her was creepy. The girl’s face showed marked confusion. Didn’t anybody tell him it was inapproriate? I wonder if he was already marking her as a grooming prey then. Disgusting!
