Watched ep 1 and lil confusedLike in starting of ep 2 why did he seal the power of the child? Did the original…
The father of that child is scared that he will fulfill the prophecy so he sealed his core of energy. I forgot which episode it was because it was just a flashback when it was shown but they finally swapped back (king and the father's child after 7days)
Thats excatly it. You liked it because of the actress but most of us liked the character of s1 and this didn't…
@AP Agree, I think people just wanted to hate unnecessarily😅
She was not only brought back to life and lost her memory. She was sort of "reborn" and raised in a very secluded environment for damn 3 year thus the character change. The fact that she's still fierce and clever when she barely has interaction with the outside world is surprising. In Season 1, I noticed her character towards the ending was also a bit changing, sort of softening when interacting to people. When she chooses to save and care for people instead of power, wasn't that also a character change? In Season 1, she's already been following her master like a lost puppy with the pretense of their supposed master-maid/pupil-master relationship but actually she's following him because she's already inlove with him and can't bare to part with him.
I'm one of those disappointed when Naksu loses her powers and dropped this at first. Then came back and tried it again, I actually did enjoy it. Then I realized that the story is not mainly focused on Naksu but actually on Jang Uk, and that's why the billing is LJW first before JSM even though she is a lot more senior than him. I wish they didn't give us that badass intro as not to expect more during the whole show.
I dropped Season 1 fast just as she lost her fighting skills. I really want to watch this, but can I grasp the…
I finally gave in and watched season 1 till ep19 and I enjoyed it even without the fights. I realized then that the story is really about the ML and not the FL though the intro made us confuse that its about the FL thus making us disappointed (made sense with the billing even when JSM is a lot senior than LJW). Bracing myself for S2 for characterization change LoL.

thanks for the reply. I was reading some snippets regarding each character and I think I really have to watch S1 to have a deeper understanding on the story. I also learned that Naksu as an assassin wasn't explored that much, a shame. That inro was actually badass
Came back for this but unfortunately had to drop it on Ep14 when the FL became dumb. She started sort of badass…
..dumb enough to make herself another hostage by trying to save another hostage by HERSELF. Who is she kidding? It's pretty obvious its a freaking TRAP but no, she went there without a plan, got captured, waited for the ML who seems not to have any plan too and just open fire while the FL is tied up on a tree LoL! 🤦
Waiting for it to finish airing. It's frustrating to wait and more frustrating when it's more than half of the…
Came back for this but unfortunately had to drop it on Ep14 when the FL became dumb. She started sort of badass but when you actually think about it she had done nothing for the first half of the series against the villain ...and dumb enough to... (spoiler below)
This is my 2nd time watching the leads and they really did well again. This one has a mature setting and not much on romance but the FL here is really badass. I wish to see more FL liker in dramas. Brainy, direct and don't take craps from others. Another thing I like is her outfits that really look classy and conservative. I wish they added an ending scene where she revealed she's a time traveler. It would have been epic to see the family's reaction 🤣
It's not "her"obsession. It's his. Chen is Sha's obsession (of Luming). Someone mentioned like a split personality…
Yes, sometimes we just have to turn off our brains when it comes to short Cdramas. But then this is the one least absurd logic when it comes to Cdramas overall lol. I've watched worse. This one was actually done better than most, except for the few loopholes that is so common again in these short series.
So all this time chengyan was loving his obsession sha?I really don't understandSo far, this is the furthest. As…
It's not "her"obsession. It's his. Chen is Sha's obsession (of Luming). Someone mentioned like a split personality which I agree is the closest to it. Remember Luming's conscience went into Sha when she died, then when Sha "split out" Chen, that light of conscience went into Chen. So my interpretation is like good and evil splitting.
The most trashy ML and FL I've ever watched! He doesn't love her. He's just obsessed with her and using whatever shit mental illness he has as not to commit with their relationship. He's so uncaring yet she's so spinless and still so clinging to him to marry her. Well, they both deserve each other. Can't believe I wasted m time with this Lol. Still 5/10 for the actor/actress effort. Lowest drama rating I've given.
The start was good. A reversed harem? Why not? A reincarnated empress with the knowledge of who betrayed her? Why not? And when she did the first revenge kill, that was badass! Then, it ends there.... She became a pushover that cannot even say her words and order her subjects. Her maid is more fierce and capable than her. Dang, she cannot even say "shut up!" She is the damn empress yet she allows herself to be disrespected only to be saved by her ML (General) consort over and over again. Plus the most intimate moment by the couple was ruined by an idiot physician, a clamoring rival consort, an arrival of another aspiring consort. WTF was that!!!
The premise was actually nice. It was a good attempt for a reverse harem but failed. I really wished they put more backbone into her considering she is good at martial arts as well. The chemistry was good and I like the actress and actor's acting.
And lastly, you have to prepare your brain for a rollercoaster😵 ride for the very bad subtitles 🤣
It's 2025 and the subs are like still like this. I mean I've seen other vertical dramas and if they used AI translator, it shouldn't be this bad. This is like a worse version of MangoTV drama subs 🤣
To enjoy S2, forget it as a sequel but a standalone so you'll not have your bias against the FL changes.
You'll also be more pissed with Jin-Mu because even on his dying moments, he will still be able to do more evil LOL

Just watched and watching their airing dramas now. Can't wait for these two again.
