LOL! That scene on top of the coffin is really disturbing! It would have been great if we are watching a goth-themed…
I barely watch Japanese dramas and the movies I've seen are mostly action and suspense so the gore and morbidity doesn't surprise me. But I still think sweet hot kisses don't mix with that effin' coffin of a dead fiance 😅
I think if you're watching it in one go, it's not that bad. When I watched it...the chemistry is lukewarm but…
I skimmed on the last few episodes (upon reading some of the comments), and it seems like a real mess! I didn't mind their love story if the main plot was executed well and gave it a satisfying/logical ending. I'm glad you finished it though. Really like the main cast.
Couldn't disagree more, I think she's hilarious and their chemistry is great.
Yes her comedic timing is really good and I think she's a better actress than the one in Love in the Edge of Divorce. However, the way her character was written when it comes to the SML is poor. Her judgement towards him is really annoying as she's been soo clueless most of the time.
While I enjoyed this drama and giving it an 8.5/10, I feel like ML's character is lacking in depth. Maybe I was used to Lin Ze Hui's darker side of character portrayal and I thought he could give more here given the ML's backstory. There were a few scenes where he seems like just standing there when FL was hurt, his demeanor didn't seem bothered. Someone mentioned this drama was turned into a Hallmark movie and I kinda agree 😉
What I really like though is the FL's family clan relationship, it's so wholesome (no backstabber)! It's been a while since I've seen a FL's dad like the one in 'A Female Student Arrives in Imperial College.'
So another lost potential drama? Sigh! The start was soo good and I stopped on Ep9 and waited until all episodes released before I continue. But based on the comments below, it seem another drama I'm putting on hold and will eventually forget about it. lol I like the FL and the ML casts , but I agree that their chemistry is a bit off. I was hoping it would improve later on but...
Dropped Ep9! I tried but the plot is not progressing at all and just a bit of a clue was dropped of what has happened years ago. It's all about the 2ML getting the FL that was 'imprisoned by the ML. And the FL was written as one of the most contradicting character (and stupid) I've watched whether forced or not. How can you care and love someone while trying to kill him again and again.
After 18 EP I gave up, the stupidity of FL exceeded all levels, I hate how scriptwriters do this to the main female…
Yes sadly, Cwriters usually do this to FLs. It's all cute and fun but it also shouldn't hurt to give atleast a bit of common sense here and there when needed specially when we are already halfway of the episodes.
so did the ml really lost his memories or is he just pretending?
I was hoping he's amnesiac but it seems like he's pretending (maybe to catch the culprit who tried to kill him before), because in Ep14 when they were playing a game he seems to admit something there.
Ugh! the 2ML is really pissing me off! and the FL being clueless is tiring already. She was decisive when it comes to ML but the moment the 2ML appears, she just ditch the ML when in fact its him whose helping her most of the time. It's fun to see though how arrogant the ML to the 2ML at the end of Ep14 🤣🤣
I watched a few vertical dramas and this is the second one where the acting can match bigger produced projects. ML's on fire, FL's good too but I think she can do better. Side characters were not caricatures. Plot was executed with consistency and the revenge aspect was really well-done. I found this via shorts and reels that keep on popping in my timeline LOL and I'm glad I gave it a chance.
I have to say, this show is unexpectedly hilarious at times! I'm really enjoying it. So my theory: good "friend"…
I was thinking the same thing. That sibling relationship is fake. The sister seems like the real villain and maybe not the FL's father. I really hope he's amnesiac because if not, then he's too cruel to play with the FL's emotion specially he's still around her while she's trying to move on.
Few minutes in the first episode and I thought WOW! there's already a hot kiss, then DANG it turned into creepy fcked up scene with that coffin! What in the director/writer was thinking!LMAO
This is actually a nice quick watch despite writing a stupid decision-making FL. Once is forgivable but twice? The only reason I could let it on was because it didn't put the ML in danger on those 2 occasions or maybe I was just in a better mood. Anyway I still enjoyed their chemistry and I like how Ma Si Han portrayed the ML's character with more expressions and bubbly personality compared in Eternal Lovesickness.
This is the first time I'm watching these MCs and I'm impressed with their acting. The plot maybe a simple revenge…
Just finished it! it's a 9.5/10! I took the half star away because I would have like a bit more interaction between the couple as a couple. The last 2 episodes specially the final battle is satisfying like a big-budget production.
I think it would have been helpful if the writer didn't decide the need for her to move in in the same apartment.
What I really like though is the FL's family clan relationship, it's so wholesome (no backstabber)! It's been a while since I've seen a FL's dad like the one in 'A Female Student Arrives in Imperial College.'

Can't believe she's already 33!
