Finished the show. It was gripping, epic and dark. Very dark. The bullying flashbacks and the gore scenes gave me huge headache. I was already in a depressive mood when I started the show. Now after completing it, feels like my head is going to kill me. Especially after this tragic ending to the already extremely tragic events. One thing, I sometimes didn't understand the character of the female cop. Her character seemed useless. Didn't add any depth to the show from start to finish. Even side characters did a better job. But it's not the actors fault. It is the character which was poorly written. If I ignore her, the show depicted the reality of bullying in a raw way. It didn't hide anything, didn't try to wash down the horrors that stem from it. The title of the series is ominous and stays true to the story. The opening theme is intense. One of its kind. I like it. Talking about the episodes, first episode starts strong. It is a hit or miss depending on individual tastes. It sets the tone of the drama. The suspense keeps building in the coming episodes. All that built-up tension eases as the show nears climax. In the last two episodes, I was only hoping for the pain to end but not the way it did. Not this way. But could the protagonists be saved? Both of them were mentally unstable. I think in that moment when they were hanging from the terrace of the roof, to them it was the only way to end the misery. I hate this. It is infuriating and sad that no matter how much time passes, some victims never recover from the trauma. That's how severe and deep the scars of bullying go. Credit goes to the actors and the team. They did an amazing job at giving life to this story. Now I am going to watch the animated movie.
I don't understand why they have to go and mess up the ending like that. Why did they have to drag the love triangle until the end and even inside the chapel? What exactly is the meaning behind the role of Cha Seokjin? Was he just there as part of a love triangle and nothing else? I really feel bad for his character. He should've gotten something at the end too. Like a wife, maybe. He was not a villain after all. Just my thoughts. Moreover, one of the comments down here mentioned misogyny in the show and I agree with that. I also find the storyline lacking at some points and the characters not fleshed out. For example, the character of Choi Yoosun, CEO of Rex, is absurd. I can't understand if she's a villain or neutral. I don't like the ML. He's not a good guy, just a playboy. But he still gets to be with the FL? Doesn't make sense to me.
After watching the trailer, I just wanna say that Park Jihoon does a great job at being Gray Sieun👍. He protrays his character beautifully✨. The boys at Sieun's new school have no idea how much trauma he carries. He just wants a peaceful life but he won't gon have it😭. These bullies are going to witness what a real weak hero is💪. I am so excited I can't wait✌️.
This show has insane amount of twists. Feels like I'm watching several shows in one. I want to give this an 8/10 rating because of delving into the stigma around mental health problems. But I can't since the story line is such a mess. So hard to finish the show. I have finally finished it after putting it on hold for one or two years probably.
Season 2 is all about Moon Dongeun's revenge and it gets dark and brutal. I didn't expect they'd add Joo Yeojung's revenge arc in the final episode. I was least interested in his character so that was a bit of a drag for me. I didn't like how they handled Jaejun's end. Yes his eye's were his weakness. But they could get more creative there. There are some disturbing scenes in this without warning like the perverted teacher situation. I wish there was one. After completing this series, I think all the vices they predicted in this show are real but the perpetrators' dark punishments are not. In reality, many people get away with their abusive behavior and never get questioned. Their victims also never get justice. It can only happen in fiction.
I give season 1, 8/10 rating because it is very disturbing to watch. Some scenes made me feel sick. The romance between the leads felt weak and unnecessary. If not for those reasons, this is a 10/10 show. The revenge has not started yet. I can't imagine how brutal it's going to be in the second season.
I rarely give something 10/10 but this is 10/10 😘. My favorite scenes are the fight scenes where Ga min uses his uncle's forbidden techniques. So cool. The scene at the convenience store where study group members are eating cup noodles and Se hyeon explains the boiling point analogy. The scene where Ga min is running in the hallway with the whole CPU lol. The scene when Ga min goes to work with Se hyeon at the site and they have a conversation with the dad. I teared up 😢. I might have more but these are the ones that come to mind rn. And of course the whole last episode. What a ride!
This is so good. Phenomenal. Addicting. Ropes you in from the first ep. Hwang Minhyun baby just go off with that acting and charisma. Create your study group. You better make those fxxxers study hard. All they know is to just throw their fists 😂.
I watched the movie on impulse. It's my first time watching something starring Song Joongki. I'm new to his work. All I know is that he's a star actor. I see mixed opinions here. But I think the film was okay. It showed the dangerous world of the illegal goods trading. I enjoyed watching. The plot was unique. Although I think for being the lead actor and the type of character Mr. Joongki was playing, his acting was a bit weak. Just my two cents. Anyways, I don't know much about Bogota or South America for that matter. I hope the city is not as scary IRL as they portray in the movie.
Really good. The show gives a lot of life lessons. Great acting especially by Uju's mom. Her acting made me tear up. Very emotional. I felt that first few eps were boring and it was hard to keep up. But I forced myself to continue watching and it got better. The cliffhangers were thrilling. I couldn't help but to click on the next episode. Next I want to start a similar show. But I don't know where to look for it.
It is a nice show overall so I don't know why I had a hard time finishing the last few eps. Watching them felt like a chore although, I enjoyed the initial eps. I had put the show on hold for months before deciding to pick it up again. I cannot pinpoint the reason why I lost interest.
The show is very grim for me. While watching, I rated it 8.5 because the murder mystery was immersive. But towards the end, maybe the story started to drag a bit, cause I was loosing interest. Then comes a vague bittersweet ending which dropped my rating to 7. I wanna say I pity Nan ya so much. Her situation made me feel empty inside and I wanted to cry. Every single person around her in that town was toxic and an a**hole to her.
I wanna say both the writing and directing are realistic. Comedy scenes are well done. I love the satire makes me either cringe or laugh. All the cast acted well. This drama is an old gem.
I come from watching ep 1 and I'm already hooked. My favorite is Sin Cha Il, he's so sassy. I love how fierce and straight forward he is, no bullshit. I also like how people don't take him seriously at first but when he shows them his cards, they start fearing him and begging him to save them. Hilarious. For me, The Auditors is one of the best shows if not the best to come out in 2024, already 🔥.
I managed to finish this drama after abandoning it for months. It's difficult for me to finish shows having 20+ episodes with each episode more than 1 hour long. That's one thing. But the main reason I had to put it on hold is that the story dragged in the middle. A lot of side roles and side stories. I liked and stayed for: -Baek seok's character and how he bonded with Hae kang and helped her find her true self. He's selfless and a good confidant. Too bad he got stuck in a friend zone. He deserves better. -Hae kang's redemption arc and in other words Choi Jinon's long awaited karma. -The tension between Choi Jinon and his father. It added depth to his character. -The camaraderie between Choi Jinon and Hyunwoo. -The evil brother in law Tae seok's character. The actor did a really good job portraying the character. -Choi Jinon's family dynamics. His entire family is malice. I liked how Baek seok called him off for not protecting his wife from his evil family. He never really cared until he lost her. I rate it 7.5/10 for a good ending.
Wait.... does that mean the teachers' argument scene struck a nerve? But they want to mask it. Then it must be a serious issue in their education system. That scene was indeed uncomfortable to watch. The show is brave for shining light to this controversial matter.
