Title The Journey of Legend Spoiler
I can't believe that it's that muppet Yiren had the gall to say that i have no brother. I was waiting most of the show for ML to say that. I mean how the hell ML given his "special identity" was overcome with such brotherly love.

I heard that the budget for this drama was S+ at 1.3 billion yuans. You invested that kind of money and you did…
lol. im on e1 and im just blown away at how good it looks.

was is good? people are complaining and I am not sure if this is another fiasco like his recent costume one.
i thought it was alright. my only complaint is that there were 2 or 3 episodes done as if they stitched 5 micro-episodes together so pacing was not very smooth. but i'm very forgiving when it comes to this - no biggie. i'll speed watch it again if i get the time & the right mood :D

just like everywhere else XK or his agency has to file a complaint before the machine can take over. if they're not doing it maybe they just dont feel the need to do so (shrug)

well, it was still showing to be aired on tencent's Chinese "qq.com" site. actually some episodes there still show up as "express". so maybe i'm just confused about what's national site is.

anyway no big deal i didn't spent too much time looking for "missing episodes"
thanks.

lol, alright if you really need to vent.
I'm here for ya.

1 I don't care. I just hit reply buttom.
2 if you didn't get it. i'm not surprised.
3 i care more about substance than the form and i don't get paid to correct you.
4 "ja hat translator rein gehauen - berichtigt", 4 or 5 times? dn't belive you.
5 haha, alright. old ladies genrally avoid cursing so when they are annoyed they say "bless you" instead of any expected phrase. but it does depend on the tone of voice (just a tad).

6 nothing to do with cleanliness, but yeah you do:
https://lexetius.com/StGB/183
and https://www.bussgeldkatalog.org/wildpinkeln:

"Urinieren in der Öffentlichkeit Verwarn- oder Bußgeld zwischen 35 - 5000 Euro
Urinieren in der Öffentlichkeit (besonders schwere Fälle) Bußgeld oder bis zu 1 Jahr Freiheitsstrafe "

please don't force me to google something obvious.

7 well at least something that we agree on :D
8 obviously i'm guessing german, but not a great indicator and doesn't matter really.
9 you have no interest or knowledge of ths area yet you insist that you know how it is and feel qualified to comment on it. anyway it was just an example, and it was easy to come up with because of experience with it, you will have something similar.

10 & 11 as far as i know it follows EU guidelines. member states would pass their own laws to align with those recommendations. how closely we align overall i can't be sure.

12 sad but true. "lol" was there for awhile, just like a lot of smileys.
im not very good with some slang like "salty" ( i interperet it comepletely differently).
yeah actually if you're not recovering from a stroke we might have to stop conversing in case it will be interpreted as grooming.

13 i was only in dusseldorf, koln, frankfurt & berlin a couple of times but this is not an area that requires serious research. i know that local authorities can establish local rules for land based casinos but yeah it's unlikely that any person from the street would be able to set it up. or a local bar could just do it for a night without a permit. not to mention if ot became a regular feature.

no it was his wife's birthday and apparantly they were too loud. but yeah germans don't believe that it could happen. like in top gear sketch "it's impossible to drive without a driving license": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3EBs7sCOzo
14 we do too. but they places, who collects money, how much,if tax is involved, etc., is regulated. just like in germany: https://www.gluecksspiel-behoerde.de/de/fuer-gluecksspielanbieter/online-poker-und-virtuelle-automatenspiele
again you could've easily googled it yourself. and before you start moving goalposts, original topic was the legality of setting up private gambling operations and what qualifies as such.

eh, not sure what you corrected in your other post but i thought you were just trolling.anyway, that's just a…
-------------------------
1) The comment is yours. You posted it and I'm replying to you.
2) I'm way past 45, so where goes my theory that you're older and recovering from a stroke or something.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) I don't care about your spelling mistakes. (nor mine for that matter).
But if you start handing out advice, it would help if what you're trying to present is at least coherent and wouldn'#t spend 3 paragraphs to explain that what you wrote 3 times already is supposed to mean something completely different.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) This line is still in your comment:
"Chinese thinking is still very backward."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Nah you didn't call me stupid. I indirectly called you stupid, by saying:
"i get the impression that your thinking is misaligned with how the world works".
It's like old ladies saying "bless you"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Yes there is a law for that in germany. if that's where you're from.
In any case based on the heuristic you advocate ... those people hurt no-one physically and will gladly take your opinion in consideration to put it away.
So they should be OK.. but it won't work out for them that well.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) I know the reason why laws i consider to be stupid exist, sometimes they are stupid because I consider reasons to be not good enough.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) ... if you say so.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Well I'm from ireland. And yeah my bad, max winnings are now 1500
https://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/justice/civil-law/the-law-on-gambling-in-ireland/
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10) anything to do with gambling is strictly regulated.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11) it's regulated everywhere.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12) Zurück zu Ihrer Behauptung, dass „die chinesische Denkweise immer noch sehr rückständig“ sei.
wann bitte habe ich "sehr" geschrieben???

Lol, the last paragraph of your comment is still the same:
>> "No wonder the people of China aren't allowed to decide for themselves what to do with their money.
>> Yes, that's why China is so huge, but that doesn't help.
>> Chinese thinking is still very backward."

Did you forget to remove it or just have a sleeping disorder.
---------------------------------------------------------
13) Germany isn't that far behind.
A few of my friends live in germany and they did get raided for no fucking reason.
Luckily there was a lawyer at a party and a hidded camera present.
But that's not my story.
-------------------------
14) Ah well. It helps to be aware of how your own country works before commenting on how other countries should.

Sorry, I don't know what's your native language or where you live so granted there could be some cultural misunderstanding.
This must be one of cultural differences:

>> "Not exactly smart to spread it based on an "impression," since it must first be confirmed that "this" is really true. "

Generally it would be rude to call a person stupid outright, and yes that would be debatable.
but when i get an impression like that, i'm certain that i have this impression.

>> "Keep in mind that the translator translated incorrectly..."
How many sentences are there to explain that whatever you wrote isn't what you mean. i'm generally ok with entropy to decipher the meaning, but yeah the onus is on you to make it clear.

>> "I don't know where I gave incorrect advice..."
You made 3 attempts to make this reply and you edited original post.
But that's enough:
>> "as long as they don't physically harm others and don't ignore other opinions, everything is fine". Well if there's nothing wrong with that, you could ponder repercussions of say urinating or masturbating in public.

>> "But it's by no means true that I think laws are stupid, ..."

There are plenty of laws that I think are stupid,
but I still follow them when they apply to me.

>> "but we have lawyers who represent our opinions."
If you are at a stage where a lawer is needed, i doubt he'd care much about your opinions either.

>> "The licenses aren't intended to operate a club, but rather the name of the club"

Well license is different to permits and nothing to do with name of clubs. If we take a basic raffle as an example: common restrictions would be around price of a ticket and maximum payout.
say, in ireland you need a permit if a ticket is greater than 5 euro or max payout is greater than 500. You would need a valid reason to get it.

In any case given that gambling is a great mechanism for money laundering it will be strictly regulated in every country.

>> "Well, we have casino games for sale...
It's our decision what we do with our hard-earned money...
It's certainly a crime if you start using these games for money laundering ..."

To figure that out law enforcement must raid you first.
So back to your claim that "Chinese thinking is still very backward".
I don't know what country you're from, let's take US as example of "forward thinking", it does change from state to state. I'm not going to post direct link, google "USA Is My Poker Home Game Legal?" For me it's second result on "legal us poker sites.

Blood, SWAT, and Tears

In the mid-2000s, with the poker boom in full swing, there were complaints about authorities in several states sending SWAT teams to raid poker games. In most cases, someone took a rake – and even so, this was heavy-handed – but that wasn't always the case.

In 2008, police raided a game in San Mateo, Calif. in full riot gear. No one had taken a rake, but authorities claimed the $5 that players had contributed to buy refreshments qualified as illegal gambling.

In 2007, a Dallas SWAT team raided a Veterans of Foreign Wars Outpost hosting charity games because they were not conducting the game in a “private place” in accordance with Texas law.

In 2010, in Idaho, law enforcement raided a small-stakes game organized by senior citizens. The bust sparked a public outcry, and as a result, all such raids now require the approval of the public prosecutor’s offic

Children, let people do what they want. What others decide is none of our business. As long as they don't physically…
eh, not sure what you corrected in your other post but i thought you were just trolling.
anyway, that's just a terrible advice for children. doesn't matter how stupid laws may seem if you break them (and get caught) the punishment will be per whatever those laws and no one's opinion matters.

this post is more mangled than your previous but whatever, world is big but in europe & us even private clubs can't facilitate games for money without a license or some sort of a permit and i'll go on a limb here but it would make sense to have some similar laws in other countries as well. someone could correct me but i thought that in US casino style private games are also illegal.

anyway, i get the impression that your thinking is a bit misaligned with how the world works. but it's alright you got your whole life ahead of you.

yeah i'm here again because of bon appetit. really has familiar vibe. but I admit i prefer GPG
Go Princess Go https://mydramalist.com/16159-go-princess-go

It was way before MQ and very low budget so it looks a bit gritty and almost lack of costumes, but it had a very positive vibe and tending more towards comedy than drama.

Title Shadow Love
I finally finished this drama. It wasn't as bad as the feedback but I expected a bit more from Deng Ke who did…
I suppose reception depends a lot on what viewers expect. I was not going to watch it because I thought it was another one of those battlefield dramas. I'm happy that someone told me to take a peek. And yeah, to me that general persona is just a facade to facilitate plot and interaction between people so I'm happy to ignore it. From everything I've seen of SY she always brought her peculiar dynamic into relationships which I really like. So here it met my expectations as well and I'm happy overall. However, if someone made a start expecting "Everlasting Longing" I can see why they would be disappointed.
