For a short drama, this was actually really really good.First half was really good, second half fell off abit…
yeah, it was a running theme since 2nd half of last year( at least) yeah it's definitely one of the best i saw. although i still love a vertical micro called "stunning the world" https://mydramalist.com/779530-stunning-the-world. yeah i admit it's really the level of a village amateur drama club - but a year later it;s still on my phone. good show.
snap, they now have FL listed, i cannot believe that.
The fact that this is still airing for another 8 days?? I don’t understand why short cdramas do this type of…
well " it's just not subbed" almost a deal breaker but even that isn't available where i am. if it wasn't for the site that shouldn't be named it would've ended up on ptw forever.
yes, no woman deserves to be raped by strangers and then killed by her ex because he could not protect her. This…
she was already destroyed. lost everyone and everything. including her mind. now i have to see her being humiliated as well. i don't like to see anyone humiliated in general, but here it felt like an unnecessary extra.
i had a look at her earlier scenes and her being a bitch previously wasn't exactly without a foundation, like her family & the lad did a number on her mind a long time ago. even then as a punishment he sent her off to a brothel as well and she was still there like don't leave me etc. would've been interesting to see how she got into relationship with the prince and the role her father had in it. anyway, not justifying her actions but her sanity was always suspect, if anything i'd treat a character like that as survivor of a cult or a sect. but it's just my take on it.
if it was a normal length drama i wouldn't be as annoyed as i am now. but yeah 11 minutes a day is really annoying
meal? lol i barely manage to finish a coffee, so i end up watching at least 2 of the previous episodes before watching a new one. good show though.my fault that i can't stack up a few episodes to watch in one go. ah well.
e19 kinda confirmed that emotions and knowledge she accumulated over the last couple of days are intact. i'm glad how fast they resolved that kidnapping situation and the return. even though the situation has so much bickering potential 😆
yeah it's weird alright. In e05 LZ tells XJY "with my body i sustain your soul, when you wake up your past will be gone. you will live as me... that includes my memories..." etc., so
to me it sounds like XJY accepted this persona knowing that she is not that person. like an actress knowing a role she had to play (plus real subconscious resentment of enemies inherited from LZ).
When LZ said her goodbyes, she also said "the memories that belong to you will be returned to you". So,
XJY's memories should come back, and she should also remember the events of previous couple of days while she was an "actress" playing the role of LZ. When she woke up she had no amnesia of recent events, like, she knew people around her, pieces that moved and that our man could be walking into a trap.
The man has to win "her" all over again and to find a way to explain his relationship with the other self…
eh she'll bring it up and twist things eventually. a definite one is something along the lines of "you know about that night. i'm not sure anymore that you knew my soul was in that body" 😭
as far as ML being in danger, i just hope no one does soul swapping magic while the castrated prince is being killed. now that would be a hellava twist 😆
Ah ep 18, plot twist. So FL has one dominant voice now…this CP has no rest period. With this set up, I am not…
The man has to win "her" all over again and to find a way to explain his relationship with the other self 😂 but e17 + part of E18 could be considered a nice enough ending. Some consolation if it will go sideways later.
well, it's a mini. it's cheap to make so s2 is possible, but it could be just an open end as well. also were a few good minis like that came out this year. so they might pick and choose whether it makes it or not who knows.
Just curious what's your country of origin? I'm wondering because you seem to be in a position to look down on…
haha well bias could be explained by more exposure to k-dramas than to c-dramas. korean works are just more pervasive in the west. even more than japanese. i'd say after "old boy" came out "international" sections of whatever video-rental equivalents of blockbuster changed completely. also i remember when i had netflix (cant remember when it was) but i recall it was mostly korean films too.
" 3 C-netz segments involving one, single K-drama seem excessive" Honestly, i don't find their reactions weird. now for points 1 & 2. i'd interpret it as obvious passive aggressive behaviour.
1) the carpet is stylized as chinese flag. I would field odd to be walking on any flag. even if it was a union jack ... dunno i'd still feel weird. 2) portraying a massive sprawling modern metropolis of a city as some back of beyond countryside. immediate question would be "why would you want to portray us in this light?" next ones are "what's your objective in doing so? is there a reason why you would like propagate this stereotype?" 3) eh this one is my favourite. people who will hear this phrase might forget everything about the movie, but they will remember this phrase. eventually they will forget where they heard it from and overtime it will be grafted into their consciousness as if they've arrived to this conclusion themselves. whether the phrase is true or not doesn't matter. so yeah i can understand actress's predicament at the end of the day she is a tool in this game so she has to do her own math for financial decisions.
i see you're snapping at at someone else there. lol, so much energy. enjoy yourself.

the other forum was inappropriate place for your question, so i'll answer here.
you could be overthinking it :D the way i see it she writes about trivia/gossip/news which she finds interesting and brings it to the attention of international viewers. now for most of us it's too much effort to bother to go to different sites and to keep track of stuff like that.
So if she is k-drama watche and reads that oh there's something going on in c-netz segment related to some k-drama and writes aboutit or even just republishes it. i see no harm in that. there's positive aspect of it too. like in the last 2 years i watched 8 k-dramas and 5 of those i watched because of some articles popping up.i used to love korean and japanese films and it's only in the last 2 years that i started to watch dramas. so yeah it's a good ratio.
obviously she is not alone and if she/they get paid by MDL to do so then good for them. they managed to monetize doing something they like that's great.
dunno. i finished it like a few moments ago. the show was excellent throughout but i didn't find the wrap up thrilling…
hi there. well i chimed in when i started, but ended up binging the hell out of it so didn't drop into comments section much.
anyway visually i think it's brilliant. i loved costumes, characters, scenery. i'm not much into fight scenes but here i even loved choreography.
the cast is stellar.so many familiar faces and i'm a sucker for cameos. some matured a bit, so it was fun to play the game of "who are you and where do i know you from?"
overall it was a good watch but i would've preferred if it wasn't a transmigrated writer. a lot of scenes i could rationalize only by the state of XMM's body in the real world. at some point i just gave up. but it was entertaining so i can't complain. looking forward to your review.
ah, yeah. "fateful love", that's the vibe i was getting throughout.

does anyone know the tune that's played when lingluo is acting sultry.
... that tune is really doing my head in now.
