My opinion is, a story must be logical and coherent... that's what comes first... and then the rest follows.

First, I would not say accident, I would say negligence. Even when his father is dying, it's not a reason to to act that way. It's pure evil and selfish. And as if a fregrance would help - sorry, ridicilous. The story is dead from the beginning, it does not work.

Of course they fell in love before they knew... that's the point of the story. Morally grey would be an revenge arc, even when revenge does not solve anything. He was not grey, he was very black.

I never said that, I just said it's ridicilous in real life, there would be discussions, there would be an introduction to the family. His father does not exist, after he is healed.. Yes, yes, that's a fantasy, but still. And to say he loved him enough - is also ridicilous - he should do the right thing, regardless if he loved him or not. You assumend it can't happen for me. It's ok to happen, but there is no story element like Scent apologizing for his uncle - I would have expected that. Also his father said, she fell down the stairs, but she didn't. - WTF? So the father is also a scumbag protecting the uncle.

So sorry, this story is BAD, and I would wish you would put down your pink glasses and put them in the trash and think about the consequences of the story. And of course the fregance could have been created with natural ingrediences all along, so everything happening was pointless. I watched a video, where a parfum "master" in india can re-create any fregance you give him. That's really facininating to know there are people with a nose who can differenciate the ingridiences and remake the same fregance and of course much cheaper than most things you can buy.

I tell people who have not a lot of time budget which shows are worth watching.

So in the future, don't bother me, don't read my reviews and especially don't comment because your comment has nothing to do with the review. This show is objectively not well written, the characters are superficial and woman like you are the reason such crap is produced. The only saving grace of this show is the production quality. And by the way I have nothing against the actors, they are forced to film such crap, because they also need food on the table. I don't care about the ships or real couples. I'm not influenced by them in any way, shape or form.

See all the 10 reviews... it's that most viewers are not critical, use it as escape from daily life and don't think about what's behind it.

It's not about my preferential portrayal, it's about a different portrayal at all, which Domundi does not do. It's always the same, there is no diversity at all.

Again, I did not dislike all of it, I dislike aspects of it. You can read other reviews with lower ratings where I state that I really disliked the story, the characters, whatever.

It did not dismiss it, otherwise it would have a 4.5 or 3.5 rating. In contrast to most other viewers my ratings really start with 1.0 - because MDL does not allow me to rate it a zero as some shows would deserve.

As you can see it's a 6... which is more than I gave Duang and there I mentioned the redeeming qualities because it needed that in my view. Here I did not see the need to say them. So the total rating is higher than the script rating, so there was something to increase the rating. And it's not catastophical bad as so many other thai shows.

And as a gay man I have the right to rant about a gay company doing stereotypical things in their productions - without even trying something different. I'm bothered by misrepresentation in either gay life or historical settings. And if you consider how they present their couples - as man and woman - it's queerbeating imho. And most viewers turn their brain off and consume and do ask the hard questions like "was it that way 400 years ago" or was it that way in europe 400 years ago. But queer hate came from europe, exported to Asia and Africa and there are many counties with even anti gay laws, imprisonment for gay people and so on. And not every couple is top and bottom, and not every femine man is a bottom either...

Not many... and school does also not help much - depending on the country. As we can see, there is a orange man who has no clue about other countries or other cultures or economy or everything else.

I mean more bad customs, like arranged marriages... still popular in arabic countries and India. Or the muslim culture that a woman is lower than a man - something which is fundamentally wrong. And stupid euphoria when for example woman are allowed to drive a car in Saudi Arabia - WTF?
