It’s likely afternoon because he was wearing the same clothes on the last episode when his parents said goodbye…
Again, it's about the sound in the background... The birds twittering happens in the morning... and then it was the crickets. So regardless of what they really said it's a time gap. And sound is as important then the cinematography is.

Yes, but this all makes no sense... why is there a time gap? What did they do over the day? So he napped 12hours after he got up? Does not make sense either. It's badly scripted. Continue checking failed completly. He said "freshen up and come down for breakfast" - and he is down when it's night - at least it was dark outside and there where no birds, just chrickets chirping...
What's with the pacing of the show? He wakes up in the morning (at least when you hear the birds in the background. He should go down for eating and it's night. WTF?
The subtitles killed me and I couldn’t read them fast enough. I spent a lot of extra time,on repeat, with these…
That problem is prevelant with asian series/movies because they tend to talk faster then at least most westeners. So I would suggest you just press pause to read the subtitle first :)

OMG....
Just another location?
That's nice :)
They did not even try.
But really such details matter for me because it does destroys the immersion.
