Hmm the first complain I don't have much on that since I think it all depends on different preferences for Comedy in a Drama
As for the second complain to my own understanding I think their bond is understandable a little bit, take Pei Si Jing for example I think she sees her brother or some what in Bai Jiu so she kind of feel some sentimental emotions with him, like wise Bai Jiu also considered Zhuo Yi Chen as a heroic figure or his role model so all have one connection or the other so I guess that could make them grow some bond very fast that's what I think

I think the kiss sign on episode 27 indicate a kiss on the forehead, I saw in one of the trailer in which LSY kissed LYN on her forehead while she is asleep.😄
