Reasons Yi Chen is getting hated: He is a people pleaser, he cares about his family too much, he didn't make Lu Feng his priorty, he usually run aways from his problems and he married a woman in a homophobic country.
Reasons Lu Feng is hated: He r*ped Yi Chen multiple times, he indirectly killed Yi Chen's mother and paralyzed his beloved little brother; then he drugged, kidnapped, r*ped and held captive Yi Chen for months and he completely destroyed his self-confidence and made him feel like non-human. He is also the indirect reason Yi Chen end up in a coma.
Some dumbass on Twitter thinks that just because Lu Feng said ''Then call the cops'' to Yi Chen, Yi Chen had a phone all this time with him and he didn't choose to call the cops because he is enjoying being captive... Lu Feng is literally referring to Yi Chen calling cops on Lu Feng in the hospital. This user also referred Yi Chen as ''little bitch'' btw... Some Lu Feng defenders are giving me a headache man. Like are we watching the same show ? Also Yi Chen tried to escape multiples times but he couldn't, like are we blind ?
There are people who actually enjoying Yi Chen getting kidnapped and tortured huh ? You guys are so weird. I'm sick to my stomach after watching this episode. No one deserves this.

I personally like both main characters and even like the litte bro and his boyfriend. They all have valid reasons to act like that (except for r*pe and abuse of course..)

THIS!! THANK YOU. We can't even write a criticism about series on here because of this parasocial fangirls who are obsessed with their series and they think because they like a certain character everyone must like them too. Happened to me in other bl series.
Thank god this is gonna end soon.. This series got one of the most boring characters I’ve ever seen. I mean they were not interesting from the start, I thought it was gonna change but nope it got worse. Solid 4.5/10 for me..
Also I don’t get how this got 8.1 rating but masterpieces like Happy of the End, Love is a Poison and My Personal Weatherman got 7 something ratings. Their main characters at least got an amazing chemistry between them unlike this series…
I was so sure that Fuaiz's character was gonna die because you know.. he gets murdered every series he is in but it was Victor. So sad and I wasn't expecting one of the main character to die.
Also Donghwa is so hoootttt that he makes me root for the villain first time in my life in a bl dudeee!!!!
