Not really. Episode 1 gave me the impression that it was going to be toxic because of the bullying and the master servant dynamic, but as the story goes on, their relationship actually develops in a much better way.

Yes, exactly! So far, they’re communicating better not perfectly, but enough to build a healthier relationship. <3
Hahaha I get what you mean. It reminds me of My Beautiful Man, where they eventually understand each other, but Sato Takaaki’s “Naoya is everything to me, I just want to serve him” energy will still remains. xD

The difference between episode 1 and the rest is huge. They’re actually so sweet together lol. I thought it was going to be a toxic relationship, so I pushed it down my watchlist. Then I saw some super cute videos of the leads on YouTube and surprisingly they bring out the best in each other. I want to binge watch it, but since it’s still ongoing, I guess I’ll have to wait until next week! (ToT)

The good thing is I saw an update that this week they’ll release 2 episodes, one on Friday and another on Saturday Ep13. Hopefully this makes your watch more enjoyable and the wait a little easier <3

Pretty sure this drama was just made to promote the boy group lol. I have no interest in that xD but unfortunately only Cheng Tiao Chin seemed like a decent actor.
The rest of the cast was done dirty by being put into acting roles when you can clearly tell they don’t have much acting experience or talent yet. Did the production team hate those boys? At least give them some acting lessons before throwing them into a drama. (ーー;)

I don't watch much of this genre, so I'm not sure if all of these count as truly toxic lol. But here are my suggestions:

The Novelist: Playback (2021) (Japanese BL ) toxic at first but entertaining. I only watched the movie though and the short ending clip.

Whisper of Desire (2026) pretty toxic, but the romance and intimate scenes were well done.

I watched Episode 1 yesterday, but it didn’t really catch my attention. Then today, Episode 2 was even more disappointing the forced kiss at the end and mostly the following dialogue felt really cringe. -_-
I expected this drama to be something special or even become one of my favorites, but it turned out to be just a typical BL story. The hype and comments were definitely misleading. The acting is great, though. <3
As for the AI use, I don’t think it was necessary since many production teams can create quality dramas without it. I might drop it for now and only give it another chance someday if I have nothing else to watch, mainly for the acting.

I thought this would be more educational lol. I expected more focus on the steps of lovemaking and how the young guy would learn to reach his goal xD ,but it felt more like a normal gay curiosity love story.

I watched a Japanese drama with a similar theme, Ladies on Top (2026), but it was about a straight couple. The man was interested in A-sex, and I think it explored the topic better.

It’s cute, but I can’t shake the feeling that the young guy looks and acts underage, while the other guy seems much older. I know the story is supposed to have an age difference, I know they’re both adults. Just saying.
The first episode was cute, but I think I’ll pass for now. (((^_^;)

Fair enough. But I really enjoyed Poom’s acting.

If you liked Poom Phuripan here, you’ll love him in the drama My Stand-In (2024). That was the first drama I saw him in. I’m still planning to watch Love of Silom because of him lol.

Just a warning: MSI is a bit toxic, but I think it worked well in the writing.

The main story had so much potential. We have Saithan, a free spirited guy who has lots of one night stands. It's basically just him and his dating app or should I say, hookup app. xD

However, he has a dark and traumatic past, and I was really interested to see how they would show what happened to him and how he started to heal. Unfortunately, it was badly written and directed. The trauma was treated too lightly, and his ex-boyfriend was really not it. :) The acting wasn't convincing, although that could also be because of poor direction.

Then we have Sila, a hardworking guy who somehow felt guilty toward his late father because he couldn't communicate well with him. I think his storyline was handled much better overall.

But hey, what is a Thai or Asian drama without horrible parents? Maenmueang's dad is really something else.

There were also so many plot holes. It was a drama with good intentions, but the execution just wasn't there.

The only thing that truly stood out was the chemistry between the leads. I would love to see them together again in a better written and better produced series.

So, what percentage% of the drama is filmed in the host club, vs. What takes place outside of it? Now that all the episodes are out, I'm even more excited to see the dynamic between the leads outside the club. Please tell me!
If most of the drama is set around the club, I'll probably move it down on my watchlist lol. It'll still stay on the list, but I'll wait until I'm in the right mood for it. (^^;

Without a doubt, this was a magical show. I loved it and was so happy with the ending.
And both couples had amazing chemistry it was absolutely off the charts. <3
