Done watching. It was good and ended well. Yes, it started toxic, but I can see why the ratings are high because there was good character development, an apology, and an explanation. Everyone has different beliefs and limits on what they can forgive, but I think the leads were written perfectly. I just want the best for Joe. Ming still needs therapy though. He had character growth, but I worry he still wouldn’t handle pressure well if life gets hard again. Great drama and amazing acting. I recommend it :)
This isn’t the most toxic drama I’ve seen from Thai productions, and that includes the straight dramas too…
Yes at least Joe knows Ming’s behavior is toxic, but from the comments it looks like he somehow forgives him… I’m curious to see how that happens. Yes, I did take a break and will come back to it later xD. I’m not into toxic relationships either, but I do like character growth. Also, this is my first Up&Poom drama and they’re amazing. I’ll be logging off for now. I hope you’re enjoying the shows you’re watching. Have a great day <3

Hahaha your reply made me laugh, thanks xD I probably should’ve given myself time to recover before starting MSI lol especially after Thai drama Whisper of Desire 2026 messed with my mind too, the FL deserved so much better. Now seeing Joe struggle, I’m totally traumatized for them lol. But I like that MSI it doesn’t romanticize the toxic behavior (at least so far). Taking a break for now, but seriously, MSI is a must watch for the amazing acting from the two leads <3
I’m starting to appreciate the 13minute format more because nothing feels wasted they go straight into the dialogue. Episode 8 is intense. That Kaji flashback… wow what terrible parents. No wonder he grew up so emotionally distant. :(
Moral of the story: don’t chase shadows. Cherish what you have and the people you love who love you back. Don’t…
This isn’t the most toxic drama I’ve seen from Thai productions, and that includes the straight dramas too lol, if we call them that. But this one is hitting me so hard.
Moral of the story: don’t chase shadows. Cherish what you have and the people you love who love you back. Don’t let low self esteem ruin you. Don’t cross moral lines it’s not worth becoming a criminal. Communicate well, don’t hurt others with words or physically to hide and masks your insecurities. (That’s for you, Ming...) (-_- )
Joe, baby You deserved so much more than crumbs. You're more precious than gold. You understand:(
I’m only on episode 7 and I’m devastated lol. Seeing everyone struggle hurts. This drama is hitting me hard. I need Joe’s pain to stop already :<
Five episodes left… I think I need a break lol. Definitely not binge watch material if you’re not in the right headspace for this type of drama. I really feel for Joe. What a life…
That said, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who dislikes stories centered around manipulation and mistreatment of women because, unfortunately, the entire plot (plot twists) revolves around that... I’m still traumatized by the reveal in Episodes 5 and 6. Her husband was an absolute monster for even coming up with that idea.
Anyway this drama was incredibly addictive. The leads gave great acting, and it was really entertaining overall. Also, I think it had some of the best intimate scenes I’ve seen. The visuals were beautiful, and nothing felt awkward everything was filmed in a very aesthetically pleasing way. (Lol I wish Thai stories without cheating had this kind of romance and chemistry.)
Meh this wasn’t the ending I wished for. The only ending that would’ve felt justified to me was if both men had died because what they did to the FL was genuinely horrific :) Then she could’ve inherited everything, raised her baby in that big house, and eventually found a healthy relationship later on. Still, I guess this ending is more realistic. Even so, I felt really sorry for the FL. Every man in her life was terrible, not even her dad was a good person.
Hmmm I don’t know how to describe this. Nothing groundbreaking, the first episode was just average. Hopefully, in the next episode, they do a time skip to the university years. The actors are cute. I’m giving this a chance because I loved The Sun from Another Star. I have a question: does the male lead benefit from his mafia family until the end, or does he break away and start his own life? To be honest, I’m not looking forward to the male lead just continuing to use dirty money while trying to live a peaceful, happy life, especially when his family is terrorizing the community. '-'
Episode 6 was so cute watching them fall in love is everything I’m really happy Kaji finally had the courage to confess his feelings. <3 And yeah, it seems like from Episode 7 onward, the story will go beyond the anime. I haven’t read the manga either, so I’m excited to see where the plot goes!
It’s perfect for a light watch. If you’re patient, binge watch it after all the episodes finish airing so you can really appreciate the characters’ emotional growth. Waiting a whole week for just 13 minutes is torture :<
