I’m with you on this. They have to expose the fake pregnancy in S2 and let these pair of luckless lovers finally unite for good. Also, he is the only one she ever voluntarily kiss so they have to be together in the end. She cannot end up with CangXuan because wouldn’t that be some sort of incest? Whoever XiaoYao’s daddy is, her mother and CS father are blood siblings, right? Or was the mother adopted and hence not related by blood? This part I’m not too sure.
Another masterpiece review. I also found it strange that the supporting cast were better fleshed out than the FL. In fact I thought the romance between ML and FL was ignited too abruptly. It wasn’t apparent enough to be love at first sight. I also agree the romance between Jue and Qian was more complex and interesting. If Qian is really pregnant, it will allow for more stories to tell in the sequel.
But I must say ZLH ‘s acting skills definitely went up a few notches in this series. No longer as “woody” when compared to his portrayals in LBFAD or TAC.
The fight sequences here were also better than the previous 2 series I just mentioned. In all I agree 9 is a good and fair rating. If my mandarin were better I could appreciate the hidden meanings in the script better. lol.
