if you're talking about the ML when he was Junoh, the top star, yea the ex gf cheated with the rival.. and both of the ex gf and the rival actor are not good characters though.. they're not really important of characters instead of just a small nuisances in the storyline.

me too, i was also initially skeptic about their pairing coz i actually not really fond of nuna-dongsaeng pairing.. but i gave it a try and they really proved me wrong, they perfectly well matched for their respective characters. and their relationship is very mature and no unnecessary misunderstanding fights. Jiwook maybe younger but he's very mature when dealing with Haeyoung who's older and quite headstrong of person.

well at least we got to see their proposal (which i also wanted for the main couple, i mean the real proposal) and also a spin off with 2 eps about their story.. i don't know if you have checked it out or not..

but anyway, this is not a revenge drama though, it's a psychological drama about human complexity, what caused these main characters broken inside.. what made them did what they did throughout the story... they were all entangled into one messy web that they couldn't get themselves out coz it was not easy.... coz each of them had their own desires and hopes they wanted to fulfil from each other..they were all lacked of love from their environment... the message of this story is telling people to be kind to one another before ppl create a monster... just like what Yoojung said in her dear x interviews..

i dont rly think it's that underrated, it was doing ok overseas, just look at the watcher numbers on this page.. it's more than 100K, so it was doing pretty good and their clips on social medias are often got high views n got ppl talked about it in comments even til this day from time to time..

tp mayoritas suka kok ama chemistrynya mereka berdua pas dramanya tayank dulu, lmyn rame jg.. dan ga nyangka banget bisa klop tp ya namanya jg selera sih...
pas tayank kemaren dl aja di fundex, nama shin minah ama kimyoungdae masuk ranking top 10 kok berbarengan, ranking 3-6 ganti2an slm 5 minggu ampe drama selesai.. no gain no love dramanya jg rank 2..jd ya mayoritas pd suka kok..
kl baru episode pertama coba nonton aja dulu ampe selesai.. kl ga suka jg ya sudah mmg bkn selera mu aja pairing mereka berdua.. bkn berarti akting mereka jelek ato si youngdaenya akting jelek jg... krn byk yg awalnya skeptis krn minah di pairing ama aktor lbh muda.. tp ternyata pada suka.. gue jg awalnya skeptis dan kurang suka pairing nuna-dongsaeng n bkn fans berat kedua2nya tp sehabis nonton jadi suka banget ama mereka krn mereka bawain karakter bagus banget..

it will always take a hit drama with good script that will elevate an actor or an actress.... coz he has had several lead dramas before but not good script so this time he shined.. glad u found him :)

not everyone liking the drama and that's ok, but majority loves it..
just like any other hit dramas where majority loves it, but i don't quite like it..

not really, there are quite many casual kdrama fans loving this drama. .so it's not watched just by youngdae's obssessive fans, his fandom isn't that big too..

why? maybe it's ur preference, as opposite of you, i rly like leeheon's personality, it's one of my fave characters of his dramas. the character gradually showing a character development from someone bit of selfish/cold (but there's reason for it) into someone lovable and thoughtful towards the people he cherishes at the end.

yea right many liked his long hairstyle but since the plot made him have to work in the office so he needed to get his hair short.

yea glad that you enjoyed his acting in this drama :) if you want u can watch his other dramas too.

most ppl bashing him coz they're jealous of him becoming a male lead with a popular actress.. and see there were many ppl like that who got influenced by those bad comments they saw only that made them not wanting to watch.. so it's better to check ourselves rather than we reading all those ppl talking nonsense like he was so bad.. he is definitely far from being bad actor..

yea kim tae young , i saw him first time at in your radiant season.. he does look a bit like eunwoo..

i also might add the tiger mom who wanted her son to go med school..
