Funny thing is I 've just found out the series is titled "With Jing An" and it's the first time a drama does what the title says, and yet some people complain. It's all about Jing An and how this incident shaped the fate of two countries. Aodeng is not the focus, even in the novel he appeared in the second to last chapter.

The story is making me anxious. He's worried he wants her bc of this Jade thing and doesn't want to have it removed. I know he'll agree to it bc he's losing control, and I also saw a snippet where he is in masked form and grabs her by the throat. Also, ep 21 has a new masked person appear. Who is he?

I loved these two eps. He is a sweetie, the greenest flag of all. It's so ironic that he is better in everything than the crown prince but he doesn't know it yet! I'm excited for their confrontation in the future! And I can't stress how refreshing it is to withess an ML with IQ AND EQ. At last, an exemplary character. I just hope when he's Annan again he won't lose his sweet side completely. I applaud the director 's choice though to first show us his lovey dovey character even it is to lose it as the story progresses. It makes me believe that's his true self and the ruthlessness is sth he had to learn in order to survive as a general and prince. Were it the other way round I 'd have thought he's just on a personality break for the sake of romanticising his abusive actions.

I want the bts, I'm sure they couldn't hold their laugh. It also reminded me of LBFAD scene with Chenhang and Donfang, in the mortal arc, but here it's funnier
