I 'm really trying to watch this drama. I love Cheng Yufeng but this story doesn't make him justice. He rocked Enslaved by love and was amazing in Yes, Her Majesty. I liked him in A Lucid Dream, too. But here he looks bored, uninterested. His chemistry with the FL is 0.

I can't believe I'm enjoying this! The story is quite common in cdrama lately, and yet I binged watched all the episodes in one sitting!

Is it going for a second season? What kind of a preview was that?Also, what's with the kiss? Did the forget how to adult?

Best series so far. I still can't fully recover from yesterday's crying fest. I keep thinking of their last scenes together and I tear up.

It was all a ploy to accuse a Qinzou citizen for the assassination so that he could ask to open the case of Quinzou and investigate matter of the fire. It was a forbidden topic in the palace, so the attempt against a prince's life was going to be hard to cover up

I think the reason it was shown was to showcase the belief that love would have made him choose a better path, had he confessed sooner. Which I truly find improbable. I refuse to believe he did all that to get LM. The easiest path would have been to traverse the battlefield with her all these years.

Unfortunately the villain is the CP so killing him before the trial would have been an offence to the crown- even MJ and LM were not fully spared. Also, exactly bc he is royalty he was given poison instead of a public execution. True, no one wanted to watch his and Luo Mei's marriage farse, but what can we do..

Satan couldn't commit the murders himself bc that would have alerted the demon authorities. Bitna is in a nightmare where she has to choose btw her demon self and her love. Now the preview shows her stabbing herself. If she does that it happens in her reality, too.

But I don't understand. Does she hate him? Is it bc he's the CP now? Why didn't she vent her anger? Has she got any anger? So many qs . Ep 23, though very emotional when the Weibei army ghosts appeared, is not clear at all.

It feels so weird that we have resolved the massacre in ep. 23 and yet we have 9 more episodes. I haven't watched it yet, so I wonder, will the FL hate him for half of them? Forgive him? Find a silly reason to be apart?

Why did Satan call the dead mother love? And why didn't we see a head? If it were her head, why wasn't she decapitated just like all the other victims were mutilated? He had the body but no head.

He had to though. She's very stubborn as proven and has the skills to get in the fray. It's the only way to convince her to leave and never come back. He's almost commiting suicide and he owes her at least that much.

We saw the trailer but maybe it's not the whole episode. Maybe half of it is the nightmare and the other half the resolution.
