8.1??? Is it worth it? As far as what i have seen in this drama is, spirit crystal- absorb them, spirit vein- absorb it, cultivators- kill and absorb them. What else? Starting was too warm and good but towards the end- trash. Cui hua- most irritating character. She is actually the stupidest i have seen in dramas

Yeah..somewhere i understand your take. She def has guard on but still i believe arrogance can't be excused for guard. The way she replies to her juniors can be humbled a bit (just like her own mentor with her). She at the beginning was upset how fu ming yu treated her, but slowly in her own training, she herself became somewhat like past fu ming yu (less considerate of others might also feel sad)

Why FL in this seems so arrogant now that she is a pilot 😭 she appears so rude and unapologetic when she talk to anyone besides her 2 friends🥲

I suggest quick watch the last ones again, at first changshou felt lost, then he spent 3600 years in jin chan's magic time and found the way to stop tribulation, sacrificed himself and saved everyone. But yunxiao later, sacrificed herself to save changshou. So she waited 500 years, made herself a vessel for demon emperor, sealed her within and everyone was saved again. But at the end a hint was dropped for 2nd season, being changshou the savior for another tirbulation that it yet to come. In short, either both changshou and yunxiao will be sacrificed or will be saved in a magical way.

I believe this isn't shitty, but when we watch fiction fantasy, something supernatural, this is what we signed for. If watchers only wanted realistic, other modern and historical dramas are plenty, fantasy shouldn't have been chosen in first place.

What a drama! Indeed it is the best of best. How beautifully they pulled off this genre, can't stress enough. A comedy that was not cringe, no overpowering lousy plots. This was a pure breath of freshness. Every character had that same main character presence on the screen. None of the second felt boring. Even the hints for the second part is mesmerizing. Would watch it again one day for sure😍

Was it really the end???? It needs 2nd season for a good meaningful wrap. This even couldn't be called as open ended drama. The story was left mid-way abruptly. I was enjoying it but!
