I’ve read the novel using Google Translate, and all I can say is that Dean and Moth are both characters who exist in the grey area. They do things that may be unpleasant or difficult to understand because of what they’ve experienced throughout their lives.
I feel like as the episodes progress, people will probably find themselves wondering, “Why does this character behave like that?” And I think that’s exactly what makes Dean and Moth so interesting. Their experiences may explain why they became the way they are, Hopefully, by the end of the series, we’ll be able to see them in a different light.
Spoiler for ending, based on my interpretation
by the end of the story, you’ll see how Dean, who has always wanted to run away, learns how to stay, while Moth, who has been trapped in the same place for so long, finally learns how to find his way out.
