Honestly at this point i won't be surprised if their story leaps 3 years and ends with a hug. i am just a bit disappointed because their story on those extra chapters are just too beautiful to be ignored as such. I know they just a side couple and has the same fate of what other side couple have in most of the series( not enough screentime) but since I have read the novel, it's imposible for me to not keep wanting for more. Specially when Jiang and Peien are portraying WenLang and GaoTu so beautifully. So yes I am still disappointed unfortunately.

He missed his own childs birth and first years which he will never get again... And he doesn't even have a supportive family. His family is rather traumatic and toxic. My poor boy.
