In my opinion the mom is suffering from “Stockholm syndrome” in a way. She’s been a servant for so long that she’s grateful for her “masters”. I get that the time period and social dynamics were different in the early 1900s but she’s way too harsh. Her son should come first.

The mother sounds like she despises her own son. Constantly reminding him that he’s nothing but a servant. She’s nothing but a shit mom and boot licker 🙄

Jung Won is in her 30’s and still has a crush on Hae Sung who is still 19. It’s really weird and pathetic quite honestly. If the gender roles were reversed a lot of people would feel uncomfortable about it. Her character was immature (the scene where she gets jealous at Hae Sung’s little sister) and at times self centered. I also felt like she was sending Cha Min Joon mixed signals. Overall I did not like her character. I would have prefer if there was no romance element to it. Also Yeong Joon was a shit brother. He had no reason to treat his siblings as if they never existed. Another self centered character.

I feel like the original script was supposed to be darker and better. Sadly, when the boys signed to GMMTV the script turned into fluff with bad fighting scenes and bad editing. This had so much potential.

Finally someone voices my same thoughts. She just wants to be delusional since she can clearly see that he’s unhappy about getting married. Also, she needs to have some dignity; marrying a man who doesn’t love her just because she’s infatuated with him.

Not necessarily. It only happens if both actors agree on it and if they are comfortable with it. The actor Pond from Reset has never had a fixed ship even though he does BL.

I think the actor needs more acting lessons. I get he’s trying to come off as naive and cute but it’s just cringe. I do like the second couple as well but they can’t save this awful series.

So the nerdy main lead is a Junior in College which means he’s around 20 years old but yet he acts like he’s 7 🙄. The other main lead is way too controlling. This show is just bad but I’m still watching it because I already made it this far (Episode 6)
